This could just be a warning to Leinart not to slack off and just assume he will eventually supplant Warner.
-
They paid Warner 30 billions dollars, so it doens't matter.
Warner is the starter regardless of what any QB on thier roster does. -
I read this today and laughed.
I challenge anybody to go back and read the things I posted about him during his draft at the old site. I proclaimed he was the 4th or 5th best QB coming out and got absolutely BLASTED!!!!
The kid never had any intentions of taking the NFL seriously, and now it all might just pass him by.
That being said, he of course will end up being number 2 on that roster, but might not ever make it past being number 2 regardless of Warner being there or not.
I also think this does speak of the entire mindset of kids coming out of USC (University of Spoiled Children) and how little Pete Carrol actually preps these kids for the next level. Buyer beware
Once again, I think the JESTS also got taken in this years draft, and of course it isn't fair to compare "The dirty one" to Leinart, but he is indeed already starting to show some of the same questionable characteristics, and there is ZERO doubt Leinart was 10X the QB coming out of collegegafinfan, late again, opfinistic and 4 others like this. -

Leinart will be alright, Warner deserves to be the starter there, I think Leinart will be better off in the long run having this type of adversity. I don't think he's in any real danger of losing the 2nd spot.

Cant say im surprised. He just never took his craft seriously enough. I still remember when they were talking about Bill Polian asking Manning and Leaf what they would do if they were drafted by the Colts at one. Manning said I'm coming into work and Leaf said he would probably fly to vegas. That was the impression I got from Leinhart. He loved the fame of being a high profile athlete but didn't want to put in the necessary time to become a good player.

The only others that even deserve mentioning are Rob Johnson and Rodney Peete, two very very average QB's.
The rest of the list?
Todd Marinovich
Shane Foley
Reggie Perry
Brad Otton
Mike Van Raaphorst
Kyle Wachholtz
John Fox
John David Booty
And of course Dirty Sanchez
Now to be fair, QB's under Carroll only go back to Palmer, I believe in his Senior year. -
Ah well at least he still has Paris Hilton, LOL.
