Carpenter has been FANtastic! I got a question. I know he does not have the strongest leg in the NFL. Yet, I have seen him, in normal conditions, kick the ball deep into the end zone, and some of his FG attempts are longer than kick offs.

I do recall, last year, when he was asked to make "directional Kicks" to one side of the field to allow our lack of coverage only half the field to worry about. I have seen some of the same this year.

Is Carpenter's leg stronger than we think on KO's?

 

Without Carpenter, we would be in the running for buffalo for the first pick of the next draft.

True enough now, but he may grow into one of those guys....and with the way this staff likes to keep games close...we need a PK that you can rely on....
