Why, it's not like the NE drafts have been amazing. With all of Billicheats trading down and amassing picks, their drafts have been no better than Irelands, who I remind you has gotten an interview with no one.
-
sounds good. do not let him leave.
-
-
Also worth noting that Caserio is not the one making draft picks in NE. Belichick makes the picks.MonstBlitz, MikeHoncho, RoninFin4 and 2 others like this. -

It would be interesting if NE's recent drafts had more direct involvement from Caserio. -
Hey Ross, close!
-
Finish it.

Ross will blow it.

That last line in there worries me. Pioli is gone and Caesar (however it's spelled) knows they really need him now. He refused to interview early and now he is interested? I'm kind of suspicious. I suppose w/ Pioli gone maybe it changes his role at NE in a way he doesn't like. Hell, I don't know.
-
NE goes to the AFC Championship Game this season starting 6 rookies on a regular basis, with something like 14 starting in spot duty over the season. Brady? Yes. Belichick ? Yes. They still know how to find guys they can plug in and win with.

I'm just waiting for media outlets to report that Ross called him Dick Caserio today to start off the 2nd interview...

We all just want a good GM. A great GM would be awesome, but we won't know that for years. -

He was a successful football pick, but yes, Caserio needs to answer some hard questions about how and why Hernandez made it on the draft board and what specifically happened, if anything, that the Patriots should have reasonably picked up on.
But the Pats just played in the AFCCG, so what was disrupted? -
Speaking of the system, I would hope Caserio would bring some of it if hired, and that he isn't unduly interfered with by Dawn in implementing it. But all in all, I'm happy they're looking at a guy from a perennially winning organization rather than someone from Detroit, Cleveland... or Miami.
-
How ****ed is this hiring process that we have to hope and pray that one of the applicants says "Yes" rather than Ross just being able to hire the best guy? In a profession where there are only 32 openings. Ross has to be hands down the dumbest billionaire on the planet.
-
do you really think so?

All this crap is BS, if your a real confident aspiring GM, you take the freakin job because the job is a challenge..you don't back out because someone mispronounced your name, what a crock, you make sure the owners pockets are open, you make sure he's not going to meddle in your affairs, you make sure you have a damn good head coach, you make sure your getting paid fairly, and you accept the challenge of taking a crap team for the past two decades and flip it into a perennial contender..MrClean likes this. -
If you're still a believer in Ross, please raise your hand. So that we may mock you.

I was an optimist until yesterday. I still believe this can be fixed and put behind us, I just don't believe we will take those steps. -

We dont know the context. Maybe they did correct them. However its a pattern not a simple mistake. We've got Sanders instead of Xanders and Roy instead of Ray.
That tells me Ross literally does not give two f***sGreysonWinfield likes this.
