Colmaxforum_veteranOPDAVIE, Fla. -- Miami Dolphins inside linebacker Channing Crowder is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the New York Jets because of a groin injury that forced him to miss the first two games.
_________________________________________Starting guard John Jerry is listed as doubtful. He missed practice for the third consecutive day Friday because of an illness.
I am a little worried about not having Jerry in there. He's been decent thus far.

then it's a good thing we played so much musical linemen during camp and pre-season. if he doesn't play the next guy can step in and the o-line still be comfortable with each other.

Sethdaddy8forum_veteranHopefully it runs its course and he's good to go by Sunday night. Thats a long ways from now. I hate seeing rookies miss time. First Odrick, now this. We don't have tons of depth along the line.
Da 'FinsmoderatorCrowder being out doesn't really bother me. In fact, I think it will hinder the D if he is in there given his limited practice.
Losing Jerry really hurts. He has been extremely tough and solid. His physicality is big for the running game and against a tough Jets D front 7 ... wow ... it will be difficult to go without Jerry.
I think this team will be a lot better when Jerry and Odrick are back at full speed in the line up and think that those two being out will be a big negative for the Dolphins going into this game. Just very disappointing.
Ozzyluxury_boxBeing sick takes a lot out of you so even if he is better by Sunday, most likely, he will not play the entire game, if at all.
