he said if hes a cancer then cinny needs kemo. and he said they need to get rid of him he pretty much made it clear that he wants out of there.

I wouldn't mind having him if the price is reasonable. The good thing is, his personality and competitiveness would be contagious. The bad thing is, when things aren't going well, he'd be hard to deal with.

He Said He Just Wants To Win.and Hes Done Showing Off I Think Randy Moss Is Making A Statement The Way He Is Playing And Other Player R Starting To Get It And Its Rubbing Of On Them.

got a 2nd for Chambers. I'll part with a 3rd for Johnson.
I hate giving up draft picks, but he's proven talent. -
Man I Would Give Back The Pick To Cinny That We Got For Chambers And We Still Win.
-
Id give up our first 3rd which essentially is a second. I dont think he is worth a 1st though. well maybe very laet 1st, but def not our first -
why not give up the 2nd we got for Chambers? Almost like a trade in a way. No one can honestly say that Ocho Cinco isnt a HUGE improvement over Chambers, cept of course Aqua and Grid, his groupies, lol.
-
Guess it would essentially be a trade cept we move up 4 or 5 spots (1 if the Chargers win it all)..
Wonder what his cap numbers would do to us?...also, I think there is SOOOO much talent coming out in the draft this year, it would be tough to part with the 3-1...but I would definately consider it. -
you know Cinn. is going to want one of our 2nd's.
I do it for a third, and I'm not budging. -
As I stated, it very well could be that our second 2 is only one pick before our 3rd  -

No, but Beck would finally have a legit target. Ted Ginn and Chad Johnson. Need a tight end. A healthy pro bowl running back in Ronnie Brown.
Beck's development would take a major leap with all that overall talent.
Unlike this year: Ted Ginn and Marty Booker at WR, Chatman/Gado at RB, David Martin at Tight End.
Chad Johnson would also bring releif to Ronnie Brown, opening the field wide for him, which Ronnie will need that to get back in the game, mentally. -

In Beck's first game against Philly he got sacked 0 times. I think he got sacked twice in the Pittsburgh game. Those were easily his two best games of the season. Then the Jets game where his offensive line just seemed to give up. And the Bills game was much of the same. Most of it had to do with poor blocking from our tight end and Chatman. I've seen them both whiff on quite a few plays.
Bring in Ocho, get a healthy Ronnie Brown, and draft Fred Davis or Martin Rucker and I promise you Beck will prove he was worth that 2nd pick. -

Not sure at all what the Oline has to do with us trading for Johnson, but yes I agree very much with dolpns13 assesment

My train of thought exactly.. Okay how about along with Johnson, we obtain Flozell the Hotel? Does that make the Johnson move a good one? -
-
you try to acquire talent. as much as you can. id rather have good WRs with a bad o-line, than bad WRs with a bad o-line.
shortsightedness and not looking at the big picture is what got this team into so much trouble. we had a great defense and a bad offense. so we stopped going after defensive players and started bringing in offensive players. you cant be surprised the D was bad last year. you always need to try to upgrade talent, regardless of position. -

Him coming here sounds like a dumb idea. Cincy is closer to winning than we are, why would he want to come here unless its about money? I don't like players that are headcases when things get bad, he's not worth the trouble IMO.
-
I would only take Ocho Cinco for one reason......Bill Parcells.
If Parcells hadn't been hired, I would not want Chad Johnson. You need to have a disciplinary management to have players who are ****y (ala Moss in New England with Bellicheck).
Someone who can keep him in line. -

People here think JT will fetch us a 2nd rounder or even a 1st and a lot of you guys think Johnson is only worth a 3rd? No way. The Bengals know we got a 2nd for Chambers, so why would they trade a much better receiver for less? Besides, some other team, like the 49ers, will definately give at least a 2nd rounder for him.
-
-
don't we have 3 2nds? Of course Cinn. is going to target one of those.
I'm still not budging from a 3rd for him. -
Nope, only 2 seconds. 2-1 (Which is actually the last of the first round) and whatever San Diego;s ends up being. -
