Not good for him if that's the case. Not that it alone would stop him from making the team, but it's not good representation of the brand if true. Update: http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/sfl-johnson-arrested-081112,0,143852.story Update #2: Update #3 (10:02pm EST): Update #4 (10:05pm):
Just a thought but last night I thought Roberto Wallace showed a lot of potential between the 20's but obviously his work in the red zone dropping that would-be touchdown pass leaves something to be desired. Might that leave an opening for a red zone specialist like Plaxico Burress?
The comment on Plaxico was he can't separate anymore , I think it was Charlie Casserly on WQAM that said that fwiw.
Guess he wasn't lying when he said he was going to get arrested on Hard Knocks. I was pulling for him but I'm tired of his act.
Wow, update to the story says he headbutted his wife while they were in the car together, and when police arrived at the scene his wife had lacerations on her forehead.
I wasn't too impressed with him last year. But honestly, I never found him to be a guy who could get a lot of separation when with the Giants either.
This makes me wonder if "he wasnt doing media anymore" because of how he talked about his wife. My wife was watching hard knocks with me the other night and made a comment about if i ever said anything like that she would unpleasantly surprise me. Either way i say he stays one more week to ensure Wallace and Pruitt perform
Update following what CK said: http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/sfl-johnson-arrested-081112,0,143852.story
He'd of been better off just smoking that weed w Gene Simmons. What a piece of **** though if that's true.
She's a reality tv ho, so I'm sure she loves the drama as much as he does. Not a legit reason to ever headbutt a woman but ya know. Can't turn a ho in to a housewife, Chad.
Nice knowing you Chad ... ok ... not really, but don't let the door knob hit you in the butt on your way out
Yes most do , at least some separation , but I think more so with this offense , anyway I am recalling Coach Philbin's comment about if behaviour could cost him a job ... foretelling ...
Can't see Philbin going from one WR w/questionable (not any more) personality to another one. I'd think this scenario makes Burress even less likely.
