    Man that is sad to read. I hope he heals to live a normal life and then play football if possible.

    Apparently amputation of his left leg is a possibility, as doctors continue to try to get blood flow to it.

    It seems his left foot is what's in danger of being amputated. Prayers and thoughts for the guy. I actually wanted the phins to get him in round four....

    Giants rookie Chad Jones was finally out of surgery as of 6:52PM ET Friday.


    Jones was in surgery for what appears to be over eight hours, which only further confirms just how serious his injuries were. A supremely gifted athlete with by all accounts role model-caliber character, Jones' professional career has been dealt a major blow. Thankfully, he still has his life.

    You know what sucks bad too, the kid didnt sign his contract did he?? I cant believe he wont get any money....at least if he was making some cash, it would be helpful for his life after football....

    God this is sad, I need to go pray for the cat right now...

    Yeah, it's very smart/lucky that he was one of the early signers this year, it's so sad how this can happen to someone whose flower is about to blossom.
