Surprised this wasn't posted already...
our new logotype took out the extra orange shadow and the word Miami
nothing changed with the actual logo it appears though...

DrAstroZoomluxury_boxThe logo is a little different: look at the angle of the Dolphin. It's a little more upright in the new logo.
only thing i see with the logo is the color looks slightly different...

But i like when a team changes the logo just slightly and not too often, so it has a natural evolution. I'm not a fan of really big changes in either design or color scheme's.
resnorforum_veteranActually, I don't think that the angle of the dolphin changed at all. It's more of an optical illusion. I think if you put the second dolphin logo over the first, they would be the same. There are the same number of sunburst things between the tail and helmet, and the tail and head look to be in the same spot on the sun.
I dont really see the difference with the dolphin. But the Dolphins phrase change is noticable.

You know, I like the way its done now, but I would love it if it was changed to the way it is in your sig. I really like that...Not like we'll see it in the end zone thanks to the Marlins and Hurricanes. If you want to change it, change it. Don't switch one little thing, and have that be news.
Reminds me of Florida license plates back in the 80's. This was long before the infamous Florida Peach license plate. They made a big to do in the newspapers about changing the plates design, and listed several different designs, but all they did in the end was invert the colors of the existing plate.
