http://www3.signonsandiego.com/stor...2246-chargers-defense-cant-hide-run/?chargers The Chargers defense has been getting run over, run past and run around at times the first two games. And no one is pretending it is not. There is no shortage of Chargers defenders taking responsibility for what has happened to them the past two weeks, in which both of their opponents have run 32 times and averaged 139 rushing yards.
We finally put our nose to the grindstone and our balls on the line and had a game running the ball like we can do almost every week. Please O Football Gods let's do it again!
With their best NT out, Wildcat it up their azzes until Pooper Cooper starts crying to his mama Roid man Merm.
I see another 65+ offensive play game. Keep the ball out or Rivers' hands!! Good strategy....we should have done that against IND.
looks like it's going to be a shootout both teams defenses giving up alot of points already this season not sure how many of the 46 points the miami defense is responsible for of sd's 51 allowed, their D is responsible for 41 of those points and pennington owns us
can't imagine his burst will be the same though, it hasn't been already, now ya factor in a sore groin definitely seeing a shootout, that play miami got burned on with indy's garcon, is something the chargers do alot of , not so much wr screens, but screens and flat speedy routes in general the real keys are sproles, naanee, vj and gates

It really makes you wonder about this game. Is it a trap game for us? The reason I say that is the Chargers have so many injuries, but are still favored by 6 points.
I listened to two handicappers/bookies this evening and the point spread basically comes down to a disbelief that the defense can play better than it has the last two weeks. Gibril Wilson, little passrush meets Rivers who shredded the Ravens pass defense. Though in fairness, this year's Raven's defense is not last seasons, but either way, 250 yds to 2 Te's and Gates on board and Rivers with the hot hand.
Our defense better come to play on Sunday. If they don't Rivers and company will make us pay. It is usually the other way around, but our Defense has to help our Offense to win.
At least make the tackles they should make, it seems to me that was the failing against the Colts, the scheme was okay, but the back 7 just played like cow flop when it came to dropping guys. I think we will run the ball well on the Bolts, I also think JT and JP need to perform or we will see a shake up, it is not a lack of sacks, it is a lack of any sort of pressure the one thing both players were supposed to do well.
Yeah there wasn't a lot of wrapping up text book style for sure. I am hoping they eat at Seau's tomorrow for an early dinner.
Fanboy. I will say, the Chargers know Gibril Wilson his strengths and weaknesses, he will be tested by them and whether that BS about his pop warner coach calling him matters or not will be apparent for everyone to see.
Just like to say hello, and get a picture if I could. Just let them know there is support for them here. Jealousy will get you no where brother.
Uh huh.. You just know the pucker factor will be high heading into the game, everyone knows 0-3 is a terrible start, a win and everyone is happy..a loss..not so much.
You KNOW I love you Bro (and not just because of your Stevie Ray Vaughan avatar) but I think it is hard to worry about a "trap game" when you are 0-2, LOL. We need to pound the rock all game long. Not just the Wildcat but the Fullhouse (ran very well last week) and the Power I and the I and Split backs (you get the point) What these other formations give us that the Wildcat does not is being able to make quick Play Action passes. All we have to do then is at least attempt one or two over 15-20 yards. O yea, and play some defense.
Brother when I said trap game I was thinking with all the injuries to the Chargers, that I hope the Dolphins don't think this one is in the bag already.
I'm not sure how that's possible when they are 0-2, injuries or no injuries. They just dominated a game last week and lost so I don't think they will think anything is in the bag for a while.
well so much for that prediction, the shootout that never was good D in the first half, then sd finally hooked up on some deep passing in the 2nd half our red zone offense still sucks though, as does our run defense if pennington doesn't get hurt, who knows if he's still undefeated against us or not.
