Can we get David Johnson instead?

Chris Johnson was leading the league in rushing early last season. While he's not his former self, I bet he can still be a good #2 back with Ajayi. I'd rather have him than Foster or Morris.

Would sign Morris in a hot moment, and think Johnson is interesting if he is 100%

Not that I'm into Johnson either (I'm not), but what about Morris makes him appealing? He was a one note sledgehammer when he was at his best. Now he's worn down, and has gotten worse every year. He was mostly innefective last year.dolphin25 likes this.

If not for his injury he would have rushed for over a thousand yards last season. He's not CJ2K anymore, but he's still good enough to be used in a one-two punch type system like the Cardinals used him with D Johnson. He's also a capable receiver as well which works into Gase's system. So I'd be happy if we bring him in and pair him with Ajayi.

Prior to the start of last season, he still wasn't healthy. He'll be 29 soon and has played three games since 2013. Not to mention having missed 20 games in five seasons prior to signing with Miami. I'd say he's done.gunn34 likes this. -
800+ yards in 11 games is legit.

I like this a lot. Generally speaking, the best ability for running backs is availability. The danger of signing any running back is that they are one ACL away from being out for a year and possibly suffering a career changing injury (this made me nervous about giving Miller a big contract). When CJ did play he was really productive, and that is what is important. I would be all for signing him and drafting a RB.

Dolphins | Chris Johnson likely to pick soon
Wed, 16 Mar 2016 18:58:15 -0700
Updating a previous report, free-agent RB Chris Johnson (Cardinals) visited with the Miami Dolphins, and he is expected to pick between the Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins. Other teams have requested visits, but he is unlikely to make them at this point.
Fantasy Tip: Johnson would have a chance at major carries and yardage in Miami, as Lamar Miller is now on the Houston Texans and the team needs someone to shoulder the load. A return to Arizona would mean a timeshare, at best, with David Johnson, among others.

He left town without signing today. Usually means they're not coming back.
Heres to hoping CJ2K hops in a time machine to 2007 when he was actually a threat in the NFL.
Well good. Now that he's unavailable Ross I got it, man. I got the answer to all your problems there is one free agent out there we can sign who will instantly make you the talk of the town like you want. Better hurry before the PATS sign another one!
