6'3 260lbs with 4.7 speed, I like the measurements, know nothing about him besides that though.

Love the recovery and TD at the 1 min mark...and that was vs Clemson, not some small school.
If Dorin Dickerson wasnt on the board i would love this pick
But then again he played 3 different positions so yeah nice pick
I like Dorin but he's a major tweener.
well, i guess we just found our 260+ OLB .... will have to go back and check -- but i think Boomer had this guy as a 'person of interest' in his column
Dolphins take another Parcells prototype - OLB Chirs McCoy (6-3 1/4, 251) 11 sacks, Mid. Tenn. St , Sun Belt Co-Def POY #NFLdraft

Seventh round pick Chris McCoy says he's been told he will compete at weakside outside linebacker.

mccoy was just on the phone here. with dave lamont and kim bokamper expected to play weakside line backer
man is he fast/explosive
Well thats 4 LB's in from the draft.
Looks to be a decent playmaker.
Mike Mayock, NFL Network
251lbs is under sized?
never heard of him hope he is a good player for us
I thought he was 260 which isnt undersized for a OLB
I agree. There are always conflicting reports on these guys weights.
Recent-ish interview with nfldraftbible:
Maybe Mayock is referring to him being undersized for a DE but as a LB he's a beast. Well physically, one site has him listed at 6-4 Wt: 277. . I'm looking forward to seeing these guys compete. I'm also secretly hoping one of these guys replaces Crowder.
That was my first thought... I can't see Channing being a Dolphin after this year.
Including Dansby thats 5 new LB's to the roster. Some one has to go.
Love the sound of this guy...
Coming from an FAU fan, I can seriously tell you that he pisses me off to no end whenever we played him. So a pretty good pick on our part.
Problem is, none of the LB's we drafted are ILBs.
We may have picked up a few playmakers in this draft. This McCoy kid and Edds both look pretty promising.
I think Edds will play inside and Donbins is an ILB
With all the McCoy's drafted this year.Is he the real one?
Love the You Tube video of him....around the 4:50 mark he runs down a RB who was about thirty yards down the field. Way to hustle!!!
Doesn't mean none of them couldn't make the switch.
I think Edds is an ILB for us from day one. Also Dobbins already plays ILB
with the 5 LB arrivals, Dansby, Dobbins and the rookies, added starting material competition and depth for both the outside and inside.
It wouldn't take much to get someone who can perform better than Crowder.
I like this pick, Chirs McCoy has a good reactivity and run fast.
And Spitler makes 6
I wonder if Parcells did this with Demarcus Ware and LT
Draft a whole bunch of DEs and Linebackers and have them duke it out to see whos best
At least we are deep at LB
Let's hope Channing has a decent season, "so he's worth something in trade".
And the way things are going with undrfted FA's, looks like there will be a bunch of DT's in camp to.
Jeff Ireland Confirms that at the very least Edds will be our MLB on passing downs. I look for him to own that spot.
