At the Ohio State pro day Beanie ran a 4.43 much better than his combine 40.

Imo he is the most talented back in the draft but his durability will likely drop him out of the top 10. But with this new 40 time no way does he fall into the 20's, wich is good because I wanted no part of the Wells to N.E scenario.

No one evee would doubt Beanie's talent. Only RB that comes close is Moreno. Durability is a huge concern and I think more of a concern for him rather than Percy.

I also expect Percy to beat his 40 time at his pro day

Wells being a RB and taking hits every play does make him more of a concern from a durability standpoint.

But it is no secret Harvin will be coached to get out of bounds because if he cant take hits at the college level he will have mucho problemo in the NFL.

Thats not true about Harvin at all. How many games did Beanie miss in college due to a football injury?

Not really interested in debating anythng that has to do with a Florida player with ya.

I will just say I think everyone knows Harvin is a small guy and Im 100% sure other NFL teams are worried about the hits he will take with the style of player he is. His durability is an issue maybe not as much as Wells but it is still an eyebrow raiser.

Interesting. What exactly makes you 100% sure NFL teams are worried about the hits he will take?

Wells could be a quality back with a team where he doesn't have to be the feature back.
I actually think that Atlanta, New Orleans or perhaps San Diego would be good places for Wells.

Harvin is not really small. 5-11 195 is not that small, But I get your point. I am sure alot of people are worried about both of them and if they can stay healthy (Me as well) . I just think its more of a concern for a guy like Wells who plays RB and had more injuries in college.

I think people are overestimating the injury thing with Wells here. AP had some injury concerns as Wells does and I doubt the Vikings are crying about them right now. Granted, if you are relying him as your only back, you might be setting yourself up for dissapointment if he gets hurt, but get a team with a solid backup like the Vikes have in Chester and its a risk well worth taking.

Beanie going to the Pats is my worst nightmare for this draft. I also would hate to see him on the Jets, but they seem to be OK with Jones for awhile longer.

Eagles could use him. They traded away Buckhalter who I think when needed to come in and play did well. Westbrook is getting older and that trade we made to them last year for Lorenzo Booker was genius on our part

With that being said they need a LT bad...

It appears that Wells, only missed "Time" in three games while a Ohio State, all three last year.

I am not sure how many he actually started last year however as it seems he was on the Injured list MUCH of the season.

He is very good sized at 6-1, 235, but I still dont recognize him for running over players as much as say....oh Ronnie Brown did when coming out of college. Their sizes are very similar.

Also, Chris Wells is NOT known for being a reciever at all...which will also dictate to some extent which teams go after him.

Okay whats your point? Havin missed 2 games and Wells missed 3 all last season. Runningbacks take more damage so not sure where your going at?

Well honestly that is kinda true but Tressel isn't known for using screens or even throwing to Tight ends.

IMO he fits in so well with the Saints. They have the all-around back in Bush they just need a game breaking back and you get that with Wells.

Yeah RB's do take more damage and thats my point. His durabilty issues might be more of a concern than a guy like Harvin. Harvin also played alot of RB for Florida as well. They will both be great NFL players if they can stay healthy. I always think its more of a concern for RB's cause they take much more of a pounding.

I think the Saints is the best fit for him as well, but I wouldnt refer to him as a "Game Breaker" as much as a "Grinding" time control back. He would be a very good complement to Bush and vice-versa. IMO.

I would definately call him a gamebreaker, aside from Crabtree imo he is the most dynamic player in the draft. He had a bit of a down year this year which kind of makes people forget about him somewhat or discount him slighty. It will be their loss.

i dont see how ATL would be a good fit at all. they have a young back that was top 3 in rushing and very explosive and again young back up. no chance he ends up in ATL

Pure talent-wise I don't think there's ever been any doubt in my mind he's the most "pro" running back in the draft class. But, you know, there do end up being more things to being a pro than pure talent.

That is where I think guys like Knowshon Moreno, LeSean McCoy and yes even Rashad Jennings...can start to catch up to him. McCoy though, I believe he had a flu before the Combine and I think he lost a lot of weight. He needs to gain that weight back and show the scouts what he looks like at 215 pounds.

I think Wells will serve up instant production barring any injuries. His ability getting to the seconded level is all in 1 quick motion. I don't know about the other issue I see which is his love for the game or questioned work ethic. Depending on where he goes I think he makes a big impact for a team especially if he goes to a RB by committee.

I am a Michigan fan. How does being a Michigan fan make me a laughing stock?

If you like going to National Championship games and losing them BIG, so be it, I'd rather be home.

Nothing more than a #2 at best buddy, nothing more than a #2.

You might be a king arsehole, but Ohio State is the king of choking.

/end me posting in this thread, Ohio States fans are just bleh.

Its funny that one playoff season with a 1st round blowout exit makes you feel like you can laugh at me, but you can since we didn't make it and you did (like it matters --- 31 losers, 1 winner).

But hey, go ahead. I guess you've got have one year to do it since I've been laughing at Miami from 2002-2007.

You gotta admidt Michigan has fallen down a VERY steep hill and with a new recruit transferring every other day I dont see UM becoming a top program until that moron Rich Rod is fired(wont be long).

As for being a Jets fan I dont think you get it too bad around here, but it is ironic when you try and hate on our #9 overall player who had a very good game to win in NY and the division, when you drafted a LB #6 overall who rarely seen the field.

Your throwing stones when your in a glass house my man.
