Jay Glazer tweets from PFT that Brown will not trade Carson Palmer.
Silly silly prideful moron.

That's pretty much why he won't trade him. If he gives in to Carson he'll open the floodgates and everyone will want to escape. Brown is a tool to be sure, but he is not a fool.

Mike Brown is the same guy who turned down two 1st round picks for OchoCinco. Stubborn fool.

This is not new news at all .... and not changing.

That's why Cincy is.....well Cincy. Instead of turning a negative into a positive, they just embrace the negative. They'll always be perennial losers.

Just the latest in a long list of reasons I'm glad I wasn't born in Cincinnati.

Guys can you imagined if all their players get fed up with the Bengals front office man that would kill the fan base there and I think their owner maybe worse then ours. I would give them Hartline and thigpen and a 2nd rd pick for carson Palmer but no 1st rd pick .

Looks like you can scratch McNabb off the list as well, traded to Vikes.

It is so stupid of brown. Although I agree with him in principle, he HAS to at least entertain trade offers to see what he can get to better his franchise. And Carson probably went public as a last resort to Brown's stubbornness.

While agree the easy way out would be to trade him, but why should the owners always give in. Same in SD for V Jackson, AJ Smith said F-you, your not going to cry your way out.
Again, I agree, just trade him and get on with it, but sometimes owners have to stand their ground. -
Talking about the double whammy, his brother getting his walking papers.

Im good with this. As Brown said, he signed the contract, he committed himself to this organization. If he wants to duck and run, too damn bad for him. Why should he be able to do it on his terms, he signed the contract, he agreed to be there. Tough luck. I dont feel bad for Carson at all. Now if the Bengals had numerous offers for high draft picks to move Carson, then I guess you could say the Bengals are kind of stupid, but we'll never know that side of the story.

As an aside, having worked for Anthony Munoz for 2.5 years, I've heard a few Bengals horror stories. There's a few you wouldn't even believe. I'd just put like this - if you heard something bad about how they run the team, it's probably true, and it's probably not even as bad as it really is. -
Just glad he won't be a Dolphin.

Wait, You're telling me Mike Brown is a stubborn, vincdictive *******? Who knew?
