Honey Bunches Of Oats was coming on strong. I thought Cinnamon Toast Crunch was finally going to be beaten. After all, it was alone atop Rocky's cereal list for many, many years, and it was bound to suffer defeat. As in life, the young up-and-comer eventually takes down the seasoned vet. Good ol' CTC wasn't having any of it though. It called out to me in Target and I brought her home. 2 bowls later and it reaffirmed my faith that Cinnamon Toast Crunch is the 1972 Dolphins of breakfast cereals. It is undefeated and it will never lose.
They changed the recipe, or formula, or whatever they use to manufacture this swill, and now it's garbage. It has a tinny, artificial edge to it that ****ing ruins it. Trader Joe's has Just the Clusters, which is just the bunches from Honey Bunches of Oats. In maple or vanilla, best goddamn cereal made.
Lucky Charms is one of those cereals that was always popular when I was younger but never really liked. And I was/am a pretty big cereal eater. I'm just not really a fan of marshmallows.
Actors who have played James Bond should be contractually forbidden from ever wearing hats like that for the rest of their lives.
Barry's Top Five at Ten Years Old 1) Pops (Mini-Box from Sixpack. Where the side of the box was perforated and you just added milk to the box itself. Must be eaten during Sat AM cartoons.) 2) Fruit Loops 3) Life Cereal 4) Frosted Flakes (with half-and half cream instead of milk, plus raspberries and glossette chocolate covered raisins.. Yum.) 5) Frosted Mini-Wheats Hated That Others Loved: Count Chocula and Frankenberry. Yuck. I hated cereals that changed the color of the milk (or water, in your case, Cif) Barry's Top Five Now 1) Poached egg, raw almonds, avocado 2) Gluten free, Soy Free, Dairy free high fiber Raw Meal shake (sometimes add frozen berries) 3) Gluten free chia-flax-buckwheat pancakes with coconut sap syrup (once a month) 4) ? 5) ? Looking back, the key component for a top ten hit when I was ten was SUGAR. Lots of it. Now, what I look for in cereal is that it keeps me regular.
Welcome back. lol. Sarcasm meter is at mid-level but I'm guessing you'll have your fastball back in no time.
I put in very little effort on the approach TBH. Either that or I'm trying to make Barry feel better.
Who you callin son? And yes. I think I agreed with your initial post a long while ago. Cocoa Krispies is the only thing close in my world.
Was never really a fan of chocolate flavored cereals. Though the Honey Bunches of Oats flavor with chocolate clusters is pretty good.
Non fat? 1%? 2% Whole milk? Half and half? Heavy whipping cream? a few days ago I had Chocolate Toast Crunch (it's the cocoa version of the title of this thread) with heavy whipping cream. what do I win? besides an impending trip to the ER.
ah but Connery said this, so he gets a life time pass...
Not a big cereal guy, but my kids love it. I like to snack on a half cup or so of dry CTC with a mug of coffee when I'm in the mood.
Sorry for you guys because this is the best chocolate milk in the whole wide world and its from germany
Impossible. EVERYONE knows USA is number one in everything. Including chocolate milk. Your version must have been invented by an American G.I. stationed in Germany.
