Shoot when I saw the title of circumcision and the author was Opie, I figured the next line was gonna say: "Dammit, I need those 2 inches back! They took half my weiner!" :pointlol:

 

Its controversial because no real scientific study can be made...but here's the theory:

People without circumcisions have a prepuse, obviously. Inside the fold that connects the prepuse to the glans ***** is where debris can accumulate, like an umbilicus (belly-button). This debris can accumulate and form "smegma." This debris accumulates and is a cancer risk over time.

Now no cancer study currently is willing to monitor a patient for the 50 years required to see if that actually will cause cancers...so the theory stays a theory.

In regards to AIDS, it is true that having a prepuse makes condom use more difficult and prone to errors but don't be weary, go ahead and use condoms and have sex with everything you can.

 

but how could something in its natural state be ultimately unhealthy?

theres lots of studies that say circumcision damages the nerves and has long term negative health effects.

 

Hmm...I had thought that the AIDS virus survived longer trapped in the folds and the next sexual partner got a dose of AIDS injected deeply into them?
