Colts deflating footballs?

This is the play from the Indianpolis-Buffalo game we referenced on Dale & Holley with me. The Bills’ Aaron Williams almost picks off Andrew Luck, the ball hits the ground on the sideline, he goes to pick it up to hand to the official, and a Colts ball boy pounces on the thing like it’s a live ball on the goal line and the Super Bowl depends on him recovering it.
Seriously, what was that about? Williams was just trying to keep the game moving, and the way this kid attacked him he’s lucky he didn’t come away with Jason Pierre-Paul hands. Now, Lord knows I’m not suspicious by nature. I’m all too happy to chalk this up to youthful enthusiasm or this ball boy wanting to show the bosses he’s dedicated to being the best ball boy he can possibly be. But I can’t.
Forgive me, people of the Indianapolis Colts organization, but I’m having trust issues. This video looks really suspicious to me. What was it about the footballs the Colts are using that would make a ball boy dive to the turf to keep it out of an opponent’s hands like it was the last doll on the shelf at Christmas? Why wouldn’t they let Aaron Williams touch it? What are they trying to hide?

Either way, wouldn't surprise me if the Colts are cheating. Why wouldn't they? There are no consequences.

That wasn't a Colt player diving on the ball. It was a Colts ball boy.
