Well, first of all, good for Drew Willy, second of all:

How does Peyton Manning's back up Qb wind up on the IR with 4 games to go in the season?

Did he fall down some stairs? Eat some bad sushi? Kicker accidentally kick him in the hand during warmups for FG?

This may actually have an impact on the Colts going undefeated. They probably had plans to rest Peyton and play Jim once they have home field secured.... Wonder if they continue to play him now?

The colts Organization will still sit Peyton Manning. I believe that organization cares a lot more about winning championships than going after a record at the risk of injuring their star QB.

Yeah, as long as Manning is resting, they'd start a scab. So long as they're in the playoffs with a healthy Peyton.

cue the Curtis Painter era in Indy, lol.

But seriously, I was wondering how a backup gets on IR.... Apparently it is being reported as a non-football injury. Hey, freak things happen. Didn't Marshall get mauled by a McDonalds bag & a glass table several years ago?
