As stupid a quote as it was, he might have a point. Playing RB in the NFL isn't so tough when you have Peyton Manning as your QB.
One of the criticsims of Mike Hart that floated around before the draft was his mouth. He simply talks too much. I mean as if being a fallen college star in some terms would humble you to the point where you are happy to just be here in the first place. I'm sure that is endearing to all of his teammates who worked incredibly hard to win their SB. Yeah its easy, right now Mike, this is the baby stuff.......wait for the gameplan to be implemented and you have to know all your protections and Shawn Merriman is coming off the edge, how easy will that be? And as far as playing RB being easy b/c Peyton mannign is your QB, I'd say it is just the opposite. Considering the amoun the team relies on him, it would mean more pressure to know what you're doing so as not to get the franchise killed. Consider how many times the RB is the last line of pass pro - or better yeat examine ours after Brown went down last year. That is as much a part of the game as running the football. And as an ex RB I can tell you, it is never easy.
