Dolphins coach Tony Sparano is sure there's a deeper element in play.
"We've got a bunch of football-heads in the room," Sparano said Monday at team headquarters less than 24 hours removed from a spiffy overtime triumph at Green Bay.
The reference, in Sparano-speak, was to players who love to talk about the game and its strategies when they are off the clock. He has grown accustomed to seeing linebackers Channing Crowder and Karlos Dansby yapping with safety Yeremiah Bell, or catching quarterbacks Chad Henne and Chad Pennington discussing matters with wide receiver Brandon Marshall and tight end Anthony Fasano.
Rather than get distracted on the road, the Dolphins pull together.
"It's a special thing to have on a team as young as this one," Fasano said. "It says a lot about us."
