Now before Marshall is demonized for stabbing his new field general in the back, it should be pointed out that he is expressing aloud (does Marshall ever express himself differently?) more or less exactly what is on the minds of the Dolphin coaching staff and front office.
Let’s break it down.
The positive thing about Tyler Thigpen is he plays as if his hair were on fire.
The negative thing about Tyler Thigpen is he plays as if his hair were on fire.
Make no mistake: this is a quarterback who plays fast and loose with both his body and the football.
Think Jay Fiedler with speed … on speed. You will be on the edge of your seat every time he takes a snap.
You will hold your breath every time he leaves the pocket.
You will turn away every time he throws a pass.
And for every time he does something that makes you want to throw your remote, Tyler Thigpen will likely do something that makes you pump your fist – much the same way as Thigpen himself did when he threw a nine-yard touchdown pass to Anthony Fasano to close out the Dolphins win over the Titans on Sunday.
