I honestly don't like assigning numbers to WRs. Last year Bess would have been considered our #3 guy, as he spent most of his time in the slot. But he also was the most productive guy we had. So does that make him our #1 last year? I think that Marshall as our flanker, Cam as our possession guy, Bess as the underneath guy and Hartline as our speedster is our best options. The article even went on to state that we like to platoon our WRs so all will see their fair share of touches. We just have to get them those touches in a role where they can be most effective.
Funny how they can come to this conclusion and Marshall isn't even in there right now ?? I do agree with the synopsis though, you have to figure Marshall will make a major difference in our ability for big plays...
