My own complete 2 round mock. I didnt bother to try and guess at prospects for Miami after that point, but DT should be a priority, OL depth is a possibilty, as is RB and general defense. Have fun reading and dont be to harsh

*edit* totally screwed up the Satele trade terms, we dont pick that high in the third, so I erased that part ;)

1)Detroit-Matthew Stafford QB The popular pick is Jason Smith, with Detroit taking the Miami approach. Equally viable however, is the Atlanta approach from last year. The thing that allowed Miami to succeed was the chance that a guy like Henne would be around in round 2. I dont see it this year though. There is a chance all 3 of the premier QBs could be gone by pick 20, so Detroit needs to jump early.
2)St. Louis-Jason Smith LT The obvious pick here, they need an upgrade at LT badly. Smith is a bit better of a run blocker than Monroe, which will play well with the new run orientation STL is trying to implement.
3)Kansas City-Aaron Curry LB Im not sure here. Curry is a helluva prospect, but is he actually worth this pick? Hes not a passrusher, and I see him as a MLB for the Chiefs. Is ILB worth the 3rd overall? Seeing as how the entire Chiefs D needs a makeover, I think they can live with having a Jerrod Mayo type run stuffer patrolling the center.
4)Seattle-Mark Sanchez QB Hasselbeck is getting older and his back is breaking down. Sanchez is recieving some serious hype lately and the 'Hawks should feel fortunate they can get Matts replacement sooner rather than later and let him learn.
5)Cleveland-Michael Crabtree WR With reports saying Braylon is on the outs, the Browns will desperately need a WR for their QB (whoever it ends up being) to throw to. Unlike Edwards, Crabtree catches everything and is a dangerous redzone target. I fully expect the Browns to be very active on draft day with players such as Edwards, Quinn/Anderson and possibly Shaun Rogers being moved for picks. Raji would be attractive if Rogers is moved.
6)Cincinnati-Chris Wells RB Something of a surprise here, but the fact is Wells is an explosive and dangerous runner. Some durability issues here for sure, but I dont see Oher as being a good value, and haivng a viable running game to ease pressure on Palmer cant be a bad thing.
7)Oakland-Brian Orakpo DE The Raiders are fortunate to have the premier passrusher of the draft fall into their laps at 7. He should prove an immediate upgrade to one of the leagues worst defensive fronts.
8)Jacksonville-BJ Raji DT The loss of Marcus Stroud was a huge reason the Jaguars struggled on D this past season, and the ability to add mammoth BJ Raji will return a swagger to the middle of the DL, and hopefully allow their second year rushers some room on the outside.
9)Green Bay-Tyson Jackson DE A bit early perhaps, but the Packers are in desperate need of 3-4 DEs right now, and with the glut of OLBs they can figure to get one early in the second round to fill that gaping hole.
10)San Francisco- Michael Oher LT The 49ers allowed way to many sacks last season, and should feel lucky to be able to get Oher here. They can plug him in at RT or LT and move Staley over to the right side. Whatever they do, it should be a huge upgrade to one of the leagues worst lines.
11)Buffalo-Everette Brown DE The Bills need an upgrade to the passrush, and Brown should give them a quick boost. He will definately supplant Chris Kelsay on passing downs. Buffalo could be active on draft day, reportedly shopping the talented but troubled LT Peters and WR Parrish, and having a contract dispute with Fred Jackson.
12)Denver-Rey Maualuga LB Although many think the Broncos have to take a QB, Sanchez wont make it here and packaging up to get him would be a waste of resources gotten in the Cutler trade. They can and will stick with Orton who should actually be solid in McDaniels system. However, the defense was pitiful last year and needs some swagger. ReyRey would definately bring some thunder to the middle of the LB group and along with DJ Williams give the Broncos a pair of nasty enforcers.
13)Washington-Robert Ayers DE Something of a reach here, Ayers had a spectacular senior week to vault him up, and his season in general wasnt to shabby either. He should fit nicely in the Redskins defense and help to ease out their current aging starters.
14)New Orleans-Brian Cushing LB The Saints could looks at Malcom Jenkins here, but they are actually set at CB and Jenkins doesnt want to play S. So they look to Brian Cushing here to give them a tough LB to help a suspect running defense.
15)Houston-Evander Hood DT A reach perhaps, but Houston is trying to build a dominant DL and Travis Johnson isnt cutting it leaving Amobi Okoye with no help. Again, Jenkins could be a consideration, but they need S more than CB right now. Taking Hood would give the Texans a tough, relentless strong DT to hold the point of attack and let the quicker Okoye penetrate the backfield.
16)San Diego-Clay Matthews LB Matthews could play either inside or out for the Chargers. RB Moreno has to be considered, but I dont think they go for a RB so early with needs on defense and LT back in the fold for a final year. Matthews would fill in nicely for their defense.
17)New York Jets-Jeremy Maclin WR Rumor has it they are going to try and sign Miles Austin from the Cowboys making this pick moot. But failing that (the Cowboys seem to want to keep him), having Maclin fall into their laps this late is something they cant refuse.
18)Chicago-Aaron Maybin DE I hate to have Maybin going so low, but he doesnt seem to have the hype a few others have garnered. Still, he should be a good fit for the Bears as a tough, hardworking kid who can bring the rush and still mix it up in the running game. And coming from Penn State he wont be afraid of those nasty winters either.
19)Tampa Bay-Josh Freeman QB New regime, new QB. Would you feel OK with Luke McCown as a starter? Granted they have some big needs, but QB is one of them and this is the last chance they might have to take a good starter. This years Flacco?
20)Detroit Lions-Andre Smith LT Smith has some huge question marks and red flags, but hes also extremely talented and could be plugged anywhere into the Lions line and give a massive upgrade.
21)Philadelphia-Brandon Pettigrew TE A big reliable target for McNabb to hit. Moreno has to garner some attention here as well, but I think Pettrigrew is the more needed player for the Eagles right now. I would look for them to be active on draft day with quite a few picks and a reported interest in Jason Peters.
22)Minnesota-Hakeem Nicks WR A big WR with good hand who can give the Vikings motley QB crew a reliable target for short yardage and redzone areas, and hopefully take some of the pressure off of Peterson. They could also look to upgrade their OL. Birk left at C and McKinnie may be gone soon as well at LT.
23)New England-Connor Barwin LB A fast riser, Barwin would look to upgrade the passrush and replace the do everythign Mike Vrabel. With a huge amount of picks, including 4 in the first 2 rounds, the Patriots can afford to do alot of moving, either up or down.
24)Atlanta-Perria Jerry DT They have to be ecstatic to have Jerry fall to them here, and he would represent a huge upgrade along a shaky DL.
25)Miami-Malcom Jenkins CB A tough cover guy, I think he could challenge for the starting spot. If he falls this far I think Miami would be lucky to have him on the team. I see the CB class falling a bit this year due to subpar 40 times, which I feel is a mistake. But still, it seems to be a big issue and could push players down like this into a "too good to pass up" situation.
26)Baltimore-Derrius Heyward-Bey WR They need to get Flacco a good target. He wouldnt be required to step in immediately due to Derrick Mason, giving him time to get some polish, but still providing a deep threat and letting him develop with the promising 2nd year reciever.
27)Indianapolis-Ron Brace DT Something of a reach here, but the Colts are finally making a push to get bigger on defense, and Brace would certainly accomplish that feat up front, giving them some run stuffing ability.
28)Philadelphia (From Carolina)-Knowshon Moreno RB After passing on Moreno earlier, the Eagles have to be happy to see him here still. Although T is still an issue, Reid seems confident he can sort it all out. Again, making a move for Buffaloes Peters could really shake this up. Also, they still have a good shot at landing a solid prospect in the second in a deep tackle draft.
29)New York Giants-Kenny Britt WR I dont expect the Giants to have a pick here. Instead, I can see Cleveland, Cincinnati or Arizona maybe after trading the Giants a proven WR. Should it all fall apart and the Giants cant land a FA or trade, Britt would be a solid option to give Eli a big target to hit.
30)Tennessee-Darius Butler CB Their is no value at DT here, and while Harvin is still on the board, Fischer seems to dislike WRs so early, so he could opt to shore up the secondary. Butler could immediately contribute in a nickel/dime package, at returner, and look to be the starter next year.
31)Arizona-Shonn Green RB They have to be dissapointed in losing out to Moreno and Wells, but Green is still a big tough RB who should pair nicely with Tim Hightower. They could also go with a guy like Alex Mack at C to shore up an OL that got somewhat exposed in the title game.
32)Pittsburgh-Jarron Gilbert DE Another fast riser, Gilbert would give the Steelers some depth on the DL and soon a starter as the Steelers aging front gets pushed aside. Many people like to say OL here, but the Steelers seem confident in their group for some reason. Maybe winning a title has something to do with that.

    Round 2
33)Detroit-Vontae Davis CB To good to pass up here, Davis is the best pure cover corner out there. While he does have some flags, if he can play to his talent he could be one of the best in this draft, and for a team with such a weak secondary, how could you not take the risk?
34)New England (from Kansas City) Louis Delmas FS They have addressed the OLB with Barwin, and CB with FA signings, leaving S as a big question mark sitting next to Merriweather. Delmas is a playmaker who could really give the Pats a dangerous secondary and make it a strength after last years weakness.
35)St. Louis-James Laurinaitis LB With Weatherspoon reportedly moving outside, ILB is a big need for the Rams, and with a quality guy like Little Animal here, the Rams need to pull the trigger.
36)Cleveland-Donald Brown RB Lewis struggled mightily this past year and finding an upgrade should be important to the development of this offense.
37)Seattle-Eben Britton LT With Walter Jones getting up there, the Hawks need a quality LT in the wings to take over. With Sanchez and Britton, they will be set for a smooth transition after building up the defense in FA.
38)Cincinnati-Alex Mack C The Bungles could also look at LT here, but Mack is a huge value and should protect the middle for Palmer and open up big holes for Wells.
39)Jacksonville-Brian Robiskie WR With Williams and Jones on the outs, the Jags need some help at WR badly to relieve the pressure on Garrard and Robiskie should fit the bill.
40)Oakland-Percey Harvin WR All Davis loves speedy playmakers, and they dont come much faster than Harvin, who though he has some flags with health and issues, can have an immediate and Hester like impact for them, and give Russell and lethal weapon to use.
41)Green Bay-Larry English LB Green Bays gamble pays off as English falls to them in the second giving them the passrushing help they have been looking for at OLB with the move to 3-4.
42)Buffalo-James Casey TE Buffalo had been mentioned as a destination for Pettigrew before some pedestrian 40 times, but now in the second the Bills can look to add a playmaker at TE and Casey fits the bill. With Evans, TO and Casey, Edwards would have a very dangerous trio threats.
43)San Francisco-Michael Johnson LB Johnson represents a huge value here, and should give SanFran a dangerous edge rusher to puss the dissapointing Manny Lawson or work on the opposite side of him.
44)Miami-Clint Sintim LB Miami takes possibly the most NFL ready 3-4 OLB in the draft here. Sintim can rush the pasher, play the run and drop into coverage. He may not have the upside of a Barwin, English or Johnson, he should still turn out to be a very solid player.
45)New York Giants-Max Unger C The Giants could use some OL depth and Unger, who can play anywhere, represents the ultimate value for that.
46)Houston-Sean Smith CB After passing on Jenkins in the first, the Texans snag the similar Smith.
47)New England-Jamon Meredith LT The Patriots, for all their success, have had issues allowing rushers to the QB. Meredith is a step to correct that flaw.
48)Denver-Paul Kruger DE Again Denver goes to its troubled defense with the talent Kruger to fill in at OLB or possibly DE.
49)Chicago-Patrick Chung S Da Bears snag one of the premier Safeties in the draft to replace the departed Mike Brown.
50)Cleveland-Jared Cook TE With the trade of Winslow, the Browns are left searching for a viable recieving TE and have to be happy to see Cook here.
51)Dallas-Duke Robinson G Dallas' OL has shifted from a major strength to a weakness. The premier guard in the draft, Robinson should help keep Romo upright and plow holes for Marion Barber.
52)Philadelphia-William Beatty LT Well hasnt this been a nice day for Philly, giving McNabb the weapons hes begging for, and still getting a solid OT prospect.
53)New York Jets-Lawrence Sidbury DE I struggled with this one. They need a DE badly, so I had to go with a possible reash in Sidbury here.
54)Minnesota-Jairus Byrd CB Antoine Winfield with more playmaking ability? With the aging Vikings secondary, Byrd would be a nice pickup here.
55)Atlanta-William Moore S Once considered the best safety in the draft, Moore has fallen somewhat, but should still be a value here and give the Falcons a nice upgrade.
56)Miami-Darry Beckwith LB Another tough pick. I almost gave them a DT like Dorrel Scott here, but Im not sure hes worth it. Also, WR is a choice, but I feel Miami isnt going down that road.
57)Baltimore-Shawn Nelson TE Todd Heap has struggled badly lately and the Ravens could look to continue upgrading their offense
58)New England-DJ Moore CB Although CB isnt a huge need anymore, Moore is a good value and the Pats still need think longterm with Springs' age.
59)Carolina-Alphonso Smith CB After cutting Lucas, the Panthers need a replacement and Smith should fit the bill here.
60)New York-Chase Coffman TE Kevin Boss has played well, but Coffman represents a good value here and some needed depth.
61)Indianapolis-Juaquin Iglesias WR Will get the auspicious job of filling in for departed Marvin Harrison.
62)Tennessee-Sen'Derrick Marks DT Although high on Jason Jones, the Titans could use some depth at DT and Marks is a good value here.
63)Arizona-Eric Wood C After passing on Mack in the first, the Cards still manage to find a nice upgrade at C here late in the second.
64)Pittsburgh-Phil Loadholdt T Some needed depth for the OL here.

    Round 3
65)Detroit-Andy Levitra G Another OL upgrade for the Lions to protect Stafford.
66)St. Louis-Mohammed Massaquoi WR After losing Holt, the Rams have a gaping hole opposite of Donnie Avery.
67)Kansas City-Fili Moala DT They need a big body on the DL after moving to a 3-4.
68)Seattle-LeSean McCoy The Hawks need some help at RB and McCoy should be a good choice here.
69)Dallas-Fenuki Tupou LT Again, the Cowboys need help on the OL and go for it.
70)Cincinnati-Sebastion Vollmer LT More OL help for a team that needs it
71)Miami (from Oakland)-Dorrell Scott DT Miami holds off at 56 from the DT and still get a goodplayer at 71.

I love our 1st 3 picks. Sadly, we didn't get 71 from the raiders though, we switched 4th rounders with them.

Not a fan of Jenkins, but he is pretty good value there and I know it is really hard to find a good pick at 25. Love Sintim, but not so sure Beckwith fits us that well.

But man, gotta tell you, I am very impressed that you had the fortitude to do TWO complete rounds, that is crazy and my condolences to your significant other who had to suffer from neglect so that you could do this. lol.

A lot of people are down on the CBs this year after all the 40 times at the combine, which is why I have so many sliding down.
That said, I still feel many of them are really good players. They may not have the closing speed of a DRC but they know how to play physical and are able to stay with their man. I think he matches up well with some of the big WRs in our division now, and with S help over the top can blanket someone underneath.
Im not entirely sold on Beckwith either, but that pick in general I wasnt entirely sure what to do with-that and Jets pick were big tossups for me. But seeing the need at ILB and seeing middle round guys like Curtis Loften stepping up and being tackling machines in other drafts, id be willing to try him out. Id also consider going with a Dorrell Scott there, even more so since I got the Satele terms mixed and thought we had an early third (instead of fourth). Likely a bit early for him, but I can see the bigger DTs moving fast, huge demand.

Ive actually been slowly compiling this for awhile, so it wasnt to bad. Plus im between jobs atm (starting on the 20th woo!) so had some free time. I love discussing the draft

Oh man, Curtis Lofton, I was so in love with him this time last year. Him and Cason from Arizona.

I totally understand what you are saying about the cornerbacks, Jenkins just scares me because people keep saying he may not have a true position between cornerback and safety . . . and that just makes me think of Jason Allen. Also I don't think there is a big gap (if one at all) between him and Jairius Byrd.

I may be wrong on this, but doesnt Byrd have some injury concerns? The thing about Jenkins is that I think people are overlooking his college career in favor of 40 times. I mean no, hes not a blazer, but he has an impressive body of work. He wants to play corner and I think he can be a success. I think people are looking to hard at his measureables and overlooking what hes done on the field.

And yeah, I was a huge fan of Lofton last year. Cant say I know too much about some of the ILBs after Rey and James, but I feel its a position we will address sooner rather than later.

Just a suggestion: can you "bold type" the actual team/player so it's easier to read? :D

If we get Sintim... I'd play him inside, so we wouldn't need Beckwith at 2b. Would be very happy to have Jenkins fall to us at 25. As a Clemson fan, I can tell you that Scott is worthy of 2b.

I'd be pretty happy with this mock, should it turn out this way. I'm not all that sold on the need for Beckwith in Round 2. I'd think we'd be more inclined to go WR, but I don't see Iglesias as a value there, and all of the other WRs are off the board, so it makes sense. I love the first two picks - though I'd probably consider Sean Smith over Jenkins.

Yeah I considered a WR there, but I feel the good ones will already be long gone at this point, and we dont need another 2-5 on the team. If we go WR it will be at #1 overall or via trade or FA, or taking a flyer on a late rounder.
