Be glad you don't have the Steelers next year when his base is almost 20 Million, but the two years after that puts him at just a million or so over a franchise tag. This is why more GMs need to be patient with waiting close to FA to cut players, it pays off in dividends. Though the Steelers are getting some breaks this year, now if only a couple more of my players would restructure in the next couple of days.
This is why I dont rush to cut high cap numbers. I cut some of the lesser guys and missed out on the restructures of Harrison and Timmons via trades that imo helped me but benefited from Ike Taylor and Woodley previously.
I was gonna but now that you told everyone what I was going to do, I wont do it I really need to get muck to make a :fap: emoticon haha
Here's an article that I found in regards to having an 800K salary for the 2011 season which just passed. He is set to make the 9 million for the upcoming 2012 season http://www.bloggingtheboys.com/2011...ructure-qb-tony-romos-contract-sort-of-extend according to that no, I'm seeing if I can find any news of a restructuring this offseason
http://espn.go.com/blog/dallas/cowb...hen-do-the-cowboys-extend-tony-romos-contract according to that and rotoworld, yeah you should be able to change his salary.
Yeah you can change Romo's salary to $825K. Something new (unannounced in January) must have came up within his contract or he restructured.
hahaha. Yup. if we have a "hump" emoticon we need a fap one too...... although you might tire it out.
According to Rotoworld, Barry Cofield is at $2,550,000, not $3,900,000. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/3764/barry-cofield
Under terms of the restructuring, the Giants will guarantee $9 million of Manning's $10.75 million salary in 2012. The move allows the Giants to divide the guarantee over the final four years of the contract, reduces his base salary to $1.75 million and clears roughly $6.75 million in cap space, the source said. http://online.wsj.com/article/AP7fbbc7f940e64fff90a2f0c32b6e39a8.html
Jahri Evans restructure: The Saints dropped his base salary to $700,000 from $3 million http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcsouth/post/_/id/32118/jahri-evans-clears-cap-space-for-saints
Hey Mach, Palmer just restructured his contract down to a $835,000 base from 11,000,000+. Congrats bro you just saved some serious dough. ......hehehe.
I did in my other more important league I'll take Capmbell. The Raiders O was putting up huge points with him back there throwing to DHB and Moore when they were breaking out. McFadden helped, but the O ran fine when it was Campbell and Bush.
Lance Moore restructure http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcsouth/post/_/id/32903/saints-re-do-contracts-for-cap-room . Moore didn’t lose any money. His base salary was dropped from $2 million to $825,000, but he made that up by receiving a $1.175 million signing bonus that will be prorated over the life of the contract.*
