1. Jason Verrett CB
2. Zach Martin OT/OG
3. Kony Ealy DE
4. Ja'Waun James RT
5. Aaron Lynch DE/DT
6. Chris Coyle TE
7. Greg Blair ILB

-Verrett can come in day one and be our Joe Haden if Grimes stays or leaves.
-Martin is versatile having played OT and OG.
-Ealy has a lot of potential and could be Wake's eventual replacement,
-Lynch could've been a 1st rounder if he didn't transfer.
-Impressed with Richardson but couldn't help to look to the opposite side and see James being just as good.
-Coyle is a Chris Cooley clone.
-Blair is one of the best LB's in the nation but his stock suffers from the school he attends.

Better have some fu@&ing guys that will run thru walls, and play like crazed dogs...some guys who have the presence and attitude that can get in the face with some of the vets on this team..
Players like Donald, Sutton, Skov..

We need an identity on defense..

Grasu had already announced he's returning to school on December 4th. Cool site but they need to update their database to reflect only those underclassmen who have already declared they will be entering the nfl draft.

2) La'Ael Collins - OT - LSU

3) Hronnis Grassu - C - Oregon

4) C.J. Fiedorowicz - TE - Iowa

5) Llamin Barrow - ILB - LSU

7) Jordan Najvar - TE - Baylor

CJ Mosely seems to be a popular pick at #19. Given the need for an ILB....what does everyone think of taking him, should he be there at 19, which according to most drafts I have done...he seems to be.

The recent history of a lot of Alabama players concerns me. I think a lot of them come into the league already maxed out. Look at Dre Kirkpatrick and Dee Miliner. I think Saban coaches these guys up so well in college that he essentially maxes them out at that level, and they simply don't get any better in the NFL.

This time I went Sizzle....like if I were drafting a Madden team, but still trying to fill real world needs:

1) RB - Melvin Gordon - Wisconsin
2) TE - Austin Sefarian Jenkins - Washington
3) WR - Jared Abbrederis - Wisconsin
4) QB - Jimmy Garappolo - Eastern Illinois
5) WR - Cody Hoffman - BYU

One thing I like about this tool, is for those of us who dont follow the draft as closely, you can really start to learn about some of these players if you do a bit of research before making your pick.

One player I would love to see the Phins take ...is QB Jimmy Garappolo. He has great size, and a very fast release. He's pretty much tearing up the FCS ...setting all kinds of records....

To me, this is the perfect kind of QB to draft...4th round...can develop him, and has enough upside he could later be traded, or, possibly start if you arent sold on Tannehill.

I honestly don't see the hype on Bridgewater... what makes his skillset more special than a Byron Leftwich? Watched a lot of Louisville games and honestly thought that the offensive system kind of handcuffed him but at the same time, there were a lot of plays he could have made himself that he didn't..

I've run through it 3 times now and had Verrett in 1, Deone Bucannon in 3, and Zach Fulton in 6 every single time. The lowest Bridgewater went was to Atlanta. I had trouble addressing OL with guys I really wanted each time. Kind of a nightmare.

Still can't get Greg Robinson. I didn't know anything about Johnson or Turner until I saw them here a few days ago but hey, they looked good, what can I say. OL in 2014 draft- go big or go home. Or pre pay for a Ryan Tannehill wheel chair, dealer's choice for the FO. Solve DT and LB issues with FA money, consider dumping Ellerbee and Wheeler, I've seen enough of them at those elevated salary levels. A big a** FB might not be a bad thing either for pass pro, lead blocking and short yardage. We could use some help there. And please- Dion Jordan to OLB. FO learn how to maximize talent- his'n your'n, your'n his'n, et al.

Most of the best LB's were drafted. Don't think we would want to dump Ellerbe/Wheeler and pick up someone who is just a tad bit better than them in FA. Plethora of LB's in this draft. Not saying that I dislike your pick, I actually like him, but where would Evans fit on the offense?

Hey, it's a passing league, and the Evans pick was made because of that and also because he was the best talent that I saw on the board at the time. Solid skills, tall, I'd imagine that he's rotate in with Hartline more than anything, who knows.

As to LB, I'm just not a fan of Ellerbe or Wheeler. Same old solution- move Misi to the middle and put Dion Jordan where he belongs at OLB. There has to be a better vlaue at OLB out there than Wheeler, given his so-so play and very high salary. Too much money tied up with those two LBs, jmo. I'd rather reset at lower cost/better value and send that money to the OL before Tannehill gets killed. Being able to run the ball wouldn't hurt either.

One thing this draft simulator really did highlight for me is the amount of depth there will be in the mid portions of the draft at the pass rusher position.

Consistently you're seeing guys like Aaron Donald, Kony Ealy, James Gayle, Aaron Lynch, Timmy Jernigan, Will Sutton, Dee Ford, Jeremiah Attaochu, Shaq Barrett and Scott Crichton all go in the 2nd to 5th rounds. All of them can rush the passer at various positions.

It's kind of a shame that Miami doesn't need that.

In all honesty the imminent departure of Randy Starks means that Miami absolutely needs another pass rusher, just not necessarily a true DE or DE/OLB type.

You can never have too many and so you should always be open to taking one when the value is there. And with guys like Scott Crichton, James Gayle and Aaron Lynch I would come damn close to saying the value is there enough that we disregard need.

But Jeff Ireland is THE quintessential need picker in the NFL when it comes to drafting. He is the standard bearer for it, including how you justify it and explain it to the press and fan base to make it look like you're not a need picker. So I don't see this happening.

If Ireland survives this off season, and I hope that he doesn't, if I were Steven Ross I'd insist on hiring an ace scout or outside consultant specifically for drafting OL. Ireland's track record there speaks for itself, might as well get it right this time and avoid the future cost of buying Tannehill a wheel chair next season.

I dont know what slot we are going to pick in...and nor do I know trades and such....but this talent seems deep in the middle rounds for many positions (need and value). Long way to go to see how even the talent pool and slotting shakes our from Franchise standpoint. Plus FA.

Heck of a player/play maker as an undertackle. But that size is very questionable, listed by Pitt at 6-0 285- which means he's really what, 5-11 to 5-11.5? Reminds me of Eddie Meat Cleaver Weaver back in the day.

What I'm wondering is this- at his size if he dropped 15 lbs or so could he play ILB? Dude has wheels, knows how to penetrate and he's a playmaker. Sam Brenner looks so small out there and he's 6-2 or so, Donald has a substantial size issue. But he can ball. Maybe it's a reach, I don't know, but I wonder if he could do it.
