Right? Hell, anybody would rather the sack, of course, but I wonder if there's film showing how many times he got held w/o sack or penalty. THAT would be sickening. Sad part is, it probably happens to tons of rushers...in the name of protecting the QB.
Well, the underlying point being is that I *think* Dion Jordan could be that guy opposite Wake. If he reaches his full potential you want him on the field every down. OV is a good player, but I think if Jordan does "explode" and Wake is still the Wake that we know, Olivier Vernon becomes our Wallace Gilberry type of player. I don't think that will end up the case this year; certainly not at the start of the season, but it could (and should) happen at some point not too far down the road.
