Couple tweets that the Fins signed him today. He had an agreement with the Chargers are going undrafted but decided to leave their team.

Too bad it would have been cool if Sinkfield stuck.

He was with the Chargers a couple of weeks ago, but left. Interesting that we'd take a chance on him. -

He's followed a Titus Young trajectory sans the make an NFL roster part.

He was signed out of JUCO by Oklahoma but didn't qualify academically...

The guy is actually very talented and was highly recruited out of Junior College. A number of college recruiting guys even had him as a better player than Cordarrelle Patterson. Unfortunately, like Patterson there are some questions about what is going on upstairs. The SB Nation HS recruiting guy (who does an awesome job) felt he might have been the most talented receiver in the draft.

that one highlight at 1:20 is almost unfair. He looks like a college player going up against high school kids.
maybe we get lucky and get another Bess. You have to wonder why San Diego would let him go, not like they have abundant talent at WR. -
Looks physically like a future #1...but grasping our complex route tree??? It's a longshot, but I like the risk.

We have to playoff first. -

Basically he is a physical freak but he is dumb as a rock.

Well, since he went undrafted, perhaps if he keeps his nose clean and show some potential we can stash him away on the PS and then over time he can learn the offense and make the team.
Being a WR in the NFL these days is so much more than having all the physical tools. Those are vital, of course, but the game has become such a mental challenge - every player on the field needs to read and see blitzes on their own just as the QB does and then immediately translate that to what to do (route to run, blocking assignments, etc.). Probably not likely coming out of JUCO ball that he'll be able to handle that this year and make the team. But, unless he messes up off the field he has a chance through hard work to eventually make it. -

Should have just made a play for Mark Harrison.

Why?

So..I read he was arrested for possession of alcohol as a minor...raise your hand if you could have been arrested with alcohol as a minor...just never got caught. The thing with the cop I'm not worried about either

If Stedman Bailey came to Miami he would immediately have been the #3 receiver.

I didnt see that kid getting drafted, believe he's with the pats now after failing physical with the bears as an undrafted free agent, this Gardner kids got an attitude problem, and I guess isn't that smart, but he's got talent, no risk really..
