What would our History forum be without Cowboys and Indians, sheriffs and bad guys, Billy the Kid, and the Lincoln County wars. http://www.jcs-group.com/oldwest/saints/eaton.html http://www.legendsofamerica.com/CP-DocHolliday.html The battle of Adobe Walls and Billie Dixon's 1500 yard shot that ended it. Wyatt Earp and the OK Corral, "Bat" Masterson, "Pistol Pete" Eaton, and all the other colorful people we've seen and read so much about from our own "Wild West." Wild Bill and You're a Daisy if you do!
I just watched Tombstone the other day. I then spent a few hours looking up Doc Holliday and Wyatt Earp. It was very interesting. I'm always interested in historical figures that cross over into the 1900's. Mainly because I was born in the 80s and can feel more of a connection to them than I can to other historical figures. Even if the time period is way off.
