tuna came in and instituted HIS people around him and since Jerry wanted to play GM against Parcell's wishes its coming to bite him because Tuna will give all of the talented individuals the opportunity to advance while Jones wasnt...dont look for Dallas' draft to go so well for the next couple of years

im not sold on what we are doing either to be honest BUT the fact is we are going to get not only better but MUCH better if we end up being the miami cowboys...there wont be a chance we would have raided the patriots because none of the assistants or anybody outside of scott pioli are guys that parcells is comfortable with

Brian Gaine, the Cowboys assistant director of pro scouting, has not joined Jeff Ireland and Bill Parcells in Miami.

I'm told the NFL has blocked a possible move to the Dolphins even though the Cowboys are willing to let Gaine leave now. Under league rules, Gaine would not be eligible to leave for the Dolphins until his contract expires unless he takes a job with "final say authority." His contract ends in the spring.

Since Ireland has that job in Miami, Gaine remains with the Cowboys - for now - unless the league decides to change its decision.

Gaine joined the Cowboys in 2005 after leaving the New York Jets, where he worked for Parcells.
