• Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he never objected to the Dolphins raiding his organization for coaches and front-office types ''because if you help people take advantage of an opportunity, that helps you get somebody else that's good, too. I was proud of everybody'' Miami hired. Jones, incidentally, planned to deal only tight end Anthony Fasano to Miami for a fourth-rounder, but linebacker Akin Ayodele was added in the last 10 minutes because the Cowboys -- who signed Zach Thomas -- wanted to dump Ayodele's salary and thought he didn't make enough plays. link http://msn.foxsports.com/rumors/nfl#2
What do they expect him to say, "Parcells robbed me blind this offseason and I hate his ***!" When your as vein as Jerry Jones, of course he has to spin it his way.
I bet, no matter what Jones says he's a bit bummed out about loosing some of these guys, especially Ireland and Sparano. I have my doubts about the Ayodele part too... oh yeah, sure, lets get rid of this guy too and give up two pretty good players for a 4th (or was it 5th?) just because we dont want his salary. Maybe its true... but it just seems fishy.
