Marshall has his ticket to Revis Island booked.
A top CB in the league against a top WR. Should be fun to watch.
That's probably true most of the time. But, I hope they move Marshall around and really take advantage of matchups.
Cromartie would have absolutely no shot of tackling Marshall in the open field. I highly doubt the Jets will let him get out of Revis' sights.
why, they really won't have to .... Hartline on the other side of Marshall makes a pretty good tandem. Add anything from the slot and TE and it makes us a pretty tough matchup no matter what. Marshall will be able to beat most CBs one on one - Revis included. I'd take my chances on Hartline vs Cromartie without any help.
our offense just got soo much better with one addition .....
"Henne sends Marshall in motion..."
There is no Revis Island. He gets safety help just like every other CB in the league.
I watched the replay of Denver v SD last on on NFLN and Marshall lined up in the slot maybe 40% of the time which was really something to see, he just beasted whoever was on him.
I understand it was just my way in saying the Jets will do everything they can to match up Revis on Marshall all game.
whats his career stats vs the division?
Ooh, Revis Island... is that the happy place Rex Cryin' goes to where everyone's nice and complimentary of his physically fit body, and where he doesn't cry himself to sleep every night?
Marshall is going to own whoever stands in his way
yea, however last season Marshall only had like 60 yards in two games versus the chargers.
Some may disagree but I personally don't believe any CB could consistently make solo tackles on Brandon Marshall. And I felt this way before he became a Fin.
Probably not consistantly, but there are some physical corners who could do a nice job limiting yards after catch.
Antoine Winfield could tackle anyone in the open field on the planet, Ive never seen a CB tackle like that.
Marshall wont be going against Cromartie he will be going against revis
Last time Marshall played against Revis, he had 5 catches for 55 yards. Didn't score but really didn't need to. Broncos won 34-17.
Of course, but I don't say that Braylon Edwards will be on Vontae Island, because there is no such thing. So let's not go around propagating myths created by the New York media.
That first one looks like Cromartie catching Marshall's head lol
Cromartie can't tackle anyone.
