Man oh man, I watched Culpepper vs the Steelers today. and man, this guy is a terrible QB. I really wonder how he became a 3 time Pro-Bowler.

He still throws the unnecessary picks, and took 3 crucial sacks in the Lions-Steelers game to give his Lions no chance to tie the game.

Very sad to see. He needs to retire.....

Has a nice arm, however could never muster up the big play drive ability....

His line was terrible, and had like 3 WRs to work with after CJ went out.

I though CP did fine considering.

He will never recapture that magic he had in 2004. He was a really good, not elite, but really good, QB at one time. But since he had that injury, he has never been the same and sadly never will. He is what he is right now, a solid backup.

If you thought CPEP was terrible I really have to question what you were watching. He looked great minus his one throw for an INT. He was accurate, mobile, strong arm, good decisions.

The problem was his offensive line and missing his best receiver.

Culpepper has actually lost a LOT of weight. I dont see why you would call him that.

On topic, Russel is hands down the WORST QB in the league.

I have to agree. I thought C-Pep looked good all things considered. Worlds better than Stafford might I add. Honestly, I feel Detroit needs to start Culpepper the rest of the year. Stafford isn't ready to take over such a bad team, so no need to hurt his development anymore.

Wow.... Culpepper was horrible. I mean, it wasn't as if he was missing his best receiver, or completed 62% of his passes, or lead a team against the Super Bowl Champions and still only managed to lose by eight points despite being on a team that went winless last season, with a bad offensive line to boot.

    Oh, wait, he did?

In all seriousness, he did pretty well, all things considered, and still have quite a few years left in him.

Derek Anderson is giving him a run for that title. Lol the Mangenius Browns may have two of the worst starters in the league

Culpepper was not terrible yesterday. But he was pretty bad once they got near the end zone. Still, it's his first start with no CJ.
