Nolan resigned on the 18th... coaching rosters were frozen at 2 AM on the 19th... and then he signed with Miami later on the 19th. So technically, he's available... Conspiracy? I think so...
I'll update this one on Friday and post an "available list" which is just a guideline of what people can chase. It won't have everyone I'm sure but a good chunk.
Lets see... here are the facts: Mal opened up the forum on Monday morning the 18th. Mike Nolan resigned as Broncos DC on the 18th. GIK states coaches will be locked as of the 19th at 2:30am... Paul 13 was comfortably sleeping at that time Mike Nolan agrees to become Dolphins DC later on the 19th. After waiting what seemed like forever to open up the forum, GIK was sure in a hurry to lock down those coaches. Oh and the Patriots (GIK is the GM) need a DC and have more money than the Dolphins to spend on one.
Just hire a DC (not a college coach) that is available.... main rules are no college coaches and I'd prefer you to find a free agent coach OR promote someone's position coach... Todd Bowles or something..
