First Ted Ginn and now Carpenter.
ST is much improved since last year even though the two winners were on the team last year.
To me this shows improvement in both their play.dolfan7171, padre31 and The Aqua Crush like this. -
Our sp teams will be an integral part of winning from here on out. They have played great this year. Whenever your team is in constant close games a good punt, a play on sp teams, a clutch field goal can be the difference.
Even against the pats, teddy's huge return after the pats score was huge.dolfan7171 likes this. -
congrats to carpenter. He's been huge all year long.
irrelevant side note: how dumb do we look for not having Ginn returning kicks ever since he was drafted... -
Jason Allen is slacking.
And a great turnaround from the horror that was 2007 and 2008... -
But yeah more production from the gunners would always help. Couple turnovers too would be awesome. -
Carpenter has been the most reliable player on this team the last two years.

Pro Bowl caliber, but until Viniateri goes away, Carp will probably not make it... Being that Carpenter is tied for first in FG %, he should make it... But it's a popularity contest like the BCS

Congrats to Carp....
I was going to start a thread talking about how much better our ST play has been this year.... no need to now.
Last year every time we kicked off or punted I was on pins and needles. This year I feel way more comfortable with our ST's.
