Osman when he made the jump, stated that the ropes used in his fatal jump had been exposed to inclement weather - including rain and snow - for more than a month before the fatal jump, but that the same ropes were used for several shorter jumps on the previous and same day, this was said to be his last jump before he retired
Really not surprising that he died, after watching his videos, but it is sad, that his last jump before retiring is the one that killed him. -

With guys like this, there's no way it's ever their last jump. They keep going until they die. It's like a drug for them.
Still really cool stuff though. I'm glad there are crazy dudes like that out there so we can be entertained!
