He's openly said he's the best player in the NFL at his position. He started to back it up today. He wants to have a Pro Bowl season, something he never got in Arizona. That's mainly because he played in Arizona, and players on teams like that don't usually get a lot of credit or support. Coming to the East for a franchise with a large fan base and rich history will help his cause, since the spotlight is bigger. I've been saying he will have his best season ever with the Dolphins as the leader, especially with Mike Nolan.

And here's a preview of him for next week:

The last time Brett Favre saw Karlos Dansby across the line of scrimmage, things didn't go too well for the Vikings and their warhorse of a quarterback.
Paced by Dansby's nine tackles, plus an interception and a pass breakup, the Arizona Cardinals handed a 30-17 loss to Favre, who finished the day with a mediocre passer rating of 79.4.

Now that Dansby has moved on to the Miami Dolphins, he hopes to bring a little more heartache to Favre's universe when the two meet again next Sunday in Minneapolis. Maybe even a few more bumps and bruises.
Dansby's showing on Sunday, along with that of the rest of the Dolphins' revamped defense, bodes well in that regard.

And let's not forget what happened the last time Favre saw the Miami Dolphins....*cough* AFC East Championship. And let's hope Wake continues to play like a beast.

he openly proclaimed that he wanted to be the best and that he recognized who was...he did it with respect and a presence when refering to taking over Ray's throne, a way that earned my respect..
