He's probably flying to Miami, then Washington and New York tomorrow.

Not sure if it's good or bad he's flying here first.

Very good. We can give him an offer he can't refuse. You hear stories like this all the time. For instance, Gregg Williams was supposed to visit the Packers after the visited the Saints. The Saints offered the guy so much money, he canceled his trip.

 

If he lands in miami cancel all out going flights until preseason. We can strand him in.

 

And Sean Payton supposedly offered some of his salary to get Williams. Once Williams heard this, he knew he wanted to sign with New Orleans.

In any regard, this is good news. Although, I can see Washington throwing the bank at him. I could see him leverging them with our offer.

I remember us thinking we were going to get Calvin Pace (and yes,many were very excited about that) and it didn't happen.

One thing comes to mind is that the Redskins have been rumored to have their sights set on Peppers and you know Peppers will want more money than Dansby. Will the Redskins throw the bank at Dansby and risk inflating the contract that Peppers will want?
Who will the Redskins covet more, Peppers or Dansby? And will Peppers feel slighted if the Redskins talk to Dansby before him?
I don't want Miami to be accused of collusion but I sure hope Dansby is on the way to Miami to sign a contract.

Does anybody have the call sign numbers of Stephen Ross's planes? I remember someone here was tracking flight numbers of Wayne Huizenga's planes when we went after Saban and some others. I am sure Ross has his own private jet.
