They are never going to get past the Spurs or Lakers playing that style of basketball, had to be done.

I think he does. Colangelo who worked for the Suns a couple years ago is there now so I think he will go there.

Wasn't D'Antoni the mastermind behind the Shaq trade? That sealed his fate.

I always liked Kerr. Played well for the Bulls, wrote fair commentary, torpedoed the Suns with the Shaq trade, and now canned crybaby D'Antoni.

Kerr was the mastermind behind the trade, D'Antoni didn't really want it to happen, but said all the right things when it did. Marion had to be moved, he was not fitting in with the team concept, but to take back a player that is old, out of shape, overpaid, and doesn't fit into your system didn't make sense to me.

Really I just think the Suns had the misfortune of running into the Spurs in the first round. They just weren't in the same class as the Spurs or Lakers this year. The Shaq trade was a mistake.

As a Laker fan, I am saddended by this news. Mr. Pringle always made me feel secure inknowing that, as lon as he was coaching Phoenix, they had NO shot of winning anything.
