NFL Network's Mike Mayock confirmed that mounting concern about Clemson DE Da'Quan Bowers' surgically repaired knee is real around the NFL.
"I’ve gotten an awful lot of phone calls from people around the league who think that there’s more (to the surgery) than what was reported initially," said Mayock. Bowers told everyone at the Combine that he was 100 percent and would work out on March 10, but that never happened. There may be growing concern about Bowers' honesty, and not just his knee. His individual workout, slated for April 1, will be a huge date for the 2010 NCAA sacks leader.
