Have to say, just watching the highlights with ..actual..on the field sound, rather than some lame soundtrack is a 100% improvement.

    You can hear the "Huttt!!"

Saw Clifton Smith out there. Wonder if he'll be active on Sunday.

Is it just me or does Sean Smith look huge in those clips? I always forget that he's got a freakish body-type for the position.

It's a shame he hasn't shown the physicality to go with the size yet though.

Granted, but I also thought he was moving better, with more urgency.

Maybe this pseudo benching will do him some good?

Yeah he did look decent moving around there. My fingers are crossed that he learns from this and progresses into a quality starter for us.

It just seems like something has been a little "off" with him in the off season this year. Hard to describe, but maybe he's just been over confident after starting as a rookie.

I thought he showed a lot of improvement in his hitting ability during preseason.

Missed Jams and he looked..lethargic? His movements didn't snap with a crispness.

You'd appreciate this Deej with your interest in kinesology, notice how Channing and Wake move very much alike?

Sort of loosey goosey through the torso with a kind of jangling gait?

Though when Wake squats and goes..dragster..when Channing squats..Prious..

Maybe. I remember him making a real nice run support tackle in the first game. I remember it pretty well because I was so surprised. I think he will develop that side of his game, but I'm not convinced that it's there yet.

His coverage skills and physicality in the passing game is much more troublesome. That Sam Aiken play from last year (which I saw in person) will be burned into my mind until he finally makes a play.

That practice looked flatter than the world pre-Columbus.
