More ugliness for a former NFL player. Darren Sharper, who played most of his career with Green Bay but was also in a Superbowl with New Orleans, is charged with rape in California. link Drugging multiple women and then having sex with them.
Worse:Darren Sharper is pretty high profile fo ex-NFLers. Lot of All-Pro, Pro Bowls, and a Super Bowl winner. I'd like to think he didn't do this thing, but with him being investigated in a series of these type of incidents, it doesn't look good.

The NFL network should be nuked from space and started over...it's a mockery, Espn is worlds ahead in the way they do their football..Espn takes the football side of their work much more serious then the leagues network, it's all about loud personalities and beautiful women ( who are better at their jobs then the men employed) on the leagues network..I don't know who's in charge there, and I'm sure they get some ratings, but the football talk is cartoonish.

It really is incredible how this does not get anything like the attention (or angst by fans) compared to the Incognito-Martin issue.
But, having read many articles on incidents like Sharper's case, this is far too common among NFL players. They don't all get charged (but Sharper has a reputation for doing this and finally got caught). This is the kind of culture the NFL should be investigating and seeking to stop.
