This is definitely a different approach to finding coaches. I hope it works out well.

 

Well, Hyde is a bit off base on Fippy as he was only the Ast ST Coach, not "the guy".

Hard to argue with Daboll, however he has done neither good nor ill in Miami..yet.

 

They're swimming upstream in terms of league-wide perception, to be sure.

The others I can abide, but Daboll is a **** hire. See my sig.

 

What kind of logic is that? Different players, different HC, different everything. You , nor anybody else, can be sure of just what Daboll will do with the Dolphins offense until we see it firsthand.

Do you know how many coaches in the NFL did horrible on one team and fantastic on another?

 

Another thing I'd like to add.

Any coach that comes to this team this season has balls. It's widely known that Ross isn't playing anymore and wants results. If Ireland/Sparano don't give some results this year, I think they may be gone. So for a coach to come here under that kind of pressure tells me a lot not only about their character, but their ambition and confidence.

I, unlike some, will at least give these guys a chance with our players.

 

Or no better options.
