Just watching Stanford destroy Iowa was a sight to behold.

David Shaw should definitely get some calls from the NFL and could get a job in the NFL if he wanted to.

The things he has been able to do with supposedly "inferior" talent has been quite intriguing and would love to see what he can do with an NFL team.

I think the Dolphins would be smart to kick the tires on David Shaw. I think he has something in him to motivate those Stanford players and create a nice system to score points.

I would like it but I don't think he's leaving or we will even talk to him to be honest.

Virtually everyone says he has no desire to leave Stanford.

Living in Austin, TX, there were rumors that he was on UT's short list but he shot them down because he did not want to leave Stanford and the region in general. Have never once heard anything other than this. His name always comes up, but never from his camp.

I have nothing against Shaw, but I'm not sure people realize how bad college to NFL coaching success has been, it's really rare to get a good one from college, it's a part time job in college and well beyond full time at the NFL level, not everyone can handle that type of grind.

He's a guy who I think would translate well to the pros but he's turned down any overtures from the NFL. I don't think he has any interest at all. He seems like a guy that is happy at Stanford and will be there for another 10 years. Harbaugh wants that job back, I think there is a very good atmosphere there and its a great place for a coaches family as well.

Yeah I agree with all of this. Shaw has security there so I don't see him going to the pros.

Why do you think Harbaugh wants that job back?? Dude couldve coached anywhere he wanted in the NFL but was dead set on what he called his "dream job".

This exactlywhat you look for in head coach.
