IMO Smith has more big play potential than Davis does. He was much better at making big plays in college. I think last year he was playing it safe. Hopefully, he'll be able to open it up this year. I think Davis needs to go the other way. He needs play safer, be more consistent and use better technique and let his athleticism provide the big plays rather than gambling for them. Depending on if and how fast those two make those adjustments will be a big part of our team and defensive success this year. They certainly have the talent to become the best duo in the league.
