prometheus the guy is prometheus. he died by reading this stupid *** riddle.

 

But, if we know it, aren't we supposed to answer it? How can we answer it without spoiling it?

like the riddle if a tree falls in the forest and hits a mime, does he make a sound?

awesome, i got it my first guess. it was the only way i could think of someone dying without being under the rock.

 

but you only have one question, you can't ask them both

 

Ask the guard what the other guard would answer if you were to ask him if freedom is behind his door. If he says yes, then choose the guard of the one you asked. If he asnwers no, choose the other guards door.

 

or if you are allowed to ask both guards one question you can ask "are you a guard". if guard one answers yes, he is the truthful guard. then you ask guard 2, "are your guarding the door to freedom?" if he says yes, the you enter door 1, if he says no, then enter door 2.

 

or! your one question could be, do you like skinny jeans?, if he says yes, you know he's the liar.
