Pough hurt me really bad. I heard nothing but positives from him. Thought for sure at worse a 5th round guy.

I was glad you dropped Griffin.

Not happy about Pough. What did he do?

I would have kept Griffin if Ballard wasn't dropped by NE.

I think Pough did the same thing Reddick did because both have dropped like a rock.

I liked Ballard but couldn't free up a spot for him. Well Reddick has work ethic concerns is my guess why he dropped. I guess Pough interviewed poorly. He has similar upside as Ty Powell.

I'm sure both will get a UDFA contract, whether they make it through camp remains to be seen. Overall my usual draft, we'll have to wait and see how they all turn out this year.

All my picks went in the 4th round except Bacarri Rambo. Rambo screwed me ;p Did have 2 undrafted that got drafted in Cooper Taylor and Daimion Stafford. None of my picks slid to undrafted.

Updated... I absolutely nailed this draft:

    Where I drafted them
    1.16 CB Xavier Rhodes
    1.18 WR DeAndre Hopkins
    2.47 S Eric Reid
    3.66 LB Sio Moore
    3.89 RB Montee Ball
    5.141 WR Josh Boyce
    6C5 FB Kyle Juszczyk
    7C14 LB Eric Martin

    Where they really went
    1.25 (-9) CB Xavier Rhodes
    1.27 (-9) WR DeAndre Hopkins
    1.18 (+29) S Eric Reid
    3.66 (+0) LB Sio Moore
    2.58 (+31) RB Montee Ball
    4.102 (+39) WR Josh Boyce
    4.130 (+66) FB Kyle Juszczyk
    UDFA (-1) LB Eric Martin

net +156.. definitely best I've ever done. Very proud of that.

oh and my UDFA TE Luke Willson was drafted 158 overall by the Seahawks. I'll take it LOL...

Still feel Miami won this draft at least from the value stand point. Hayden is the steal of the draft IMO no contest. Will be fun to see where every draft class is at in a few years.

Didn't Jenkins win draft steal and only play like 2 snaps? Wont happen with Hayden but if Manuel turns out a similar year like Wilson hard to keep things the same.

In terms of draft placement, yes.

However Paul won draft steal of the year with Mark Barron at #32 and looking back now that can be argued.

Curious how you "other" fans think your team did in the draft. We got Green Bay, Tampa, Giants, Pats, Raiders fans here (might have missed one or two of you). I think the Raiders and Packers actually had good drafts. Raiders... who'd have thunk that? And the Packers getting Lacy and Franklin... mmmmm

As for the Dolphins... I think we did a pretty good job improving our defense. Getting faster... Adding speed and playmaking ability which is what we needed to do. Dion Sims might end up being a real steal for us. I don't think we're done on the Oline... see what free agency has to bring us. Although I'm glad we didn't panic for Branden Albert. These three dbacks we took, all fast and can play the ball in the air. Something we sorely needed. And Gillislee could end up being a starter for us at tail back. I would give it a B. It can easily become an A if Dion Jordan becomes what his draft position says he should be. We'll see.

All this is in terms of draft placement. Pough and Mark '****ter' Harrison ruined my draft. Funny though still one of my better drafts. I have to remember College production trumps athletic character problems.

I'm lukewarm on my draft, especially Watson. I think we got good value with all of our picks, but we're still picking slow minded athletes too high. Hayden's okay, but I'm tired of the build from the DBs down philosophy. I like Moore but we're pretty full at LB, though he seems to be a rusher. Wilson was my least hated QB in the class, but I still have little hope for him and we could have used a more ready player. The late rounders are all whatever anyway, but more projects.

Sparano is your OL coach right? He'll be fist pumping himself to death knowing Watson is on his team. Tony is a good OL coach, it's what he does well, that's a good match. Likewise Watson is getting a good guy to coach him up right.

I really like the first two picks because I happened to draft them and it's not the only time the Patriots have looked at my draft for their defensive unit like Brandon Spikes, Dont'a Hightower, Chandler Jones and what not.

Collins is a kid I really liked, more reports had him going to the Colts. He's been all over the field and so athletic that I could see him rush off the line or drop back in coverage as a linebacker. He fits the multi-use defender the Patriots use. As for Dobson he's the highes I've ever drafted a WR and I really haven't been able to draft a good one, for the most part I like his speed and size, and the kid has great hands but we'll see if he develops into the threat I think he can be on the outside.

For the rest of the draft I'm lukewarm to because I haven't really looked hard at them, and apparently Rutgers has had a lot of NFL level prospects, I don't really see the 7th rounders being on the main roster but Logan and Harmon should be able to contribute to special teams. Out of the last three classes this would be my least favorite with last year being my favorite for the patriots. Though I like the receivers they added, but I expect a drop in production this season which I hope I'm wrong about.

Sparano's actually the guy who pushed for the pick, sorta begged Reggie even, so this is where they'll earn their money if so.

We actually had a tradedown in place supposedly with NE if Te'o fell to us, and then again if Woods fell to us. The latter of course went one pick before.

So my last 3 drafted guys ended up going late or not getting drafted at all. That hurts my overall +/- score, but I'll take not having my 5th, 6th, and 7th guys end up going high when my first 3 picks all went by the middle of the 2nd round (all much higher than I took them).

Well I learned a lot from you guys for my rookie season. Amped up minor squabbles just to keep things active around here (thank you Odin ;p). Think I did alright sorting out a pretty putrid Bills team. If cap penalties are included...next year could get real rough for making trades...so I don't know if we want to go that far. Trading helped keep things active.

It was fun guys. Not sure if I will be back next year...maybe I might more in a limited fashion as a more quiet owner (Not as fast on trades and not as active with the 'persona' etc). All depends on my free time which I had a lot of this past winter due to certain things.
