Now we go to San Diego in week 3 to face the San Diego Chargers and Antonio Gates. I hope this coaching staff and defense can figure out how to cover the tight end or Antonio Gates and Phil Rivers will be in for a big day.
Any suggestions?
For starters, let's not have Channing Crowder covering Antonio Gates by himself. Or any other linebacker on our team. A good QB will attack that mismatch all day.

wouldn't say the whole secondary sucked... Reggie Wayne was held to 3 catches for 37 yards. granted, we double covered him most of the night, but still, shutting down Reggie is no small feat.

Maybe against SD you can double team Gates? The chargers have good WR's on the outside but it's not the equivalent to Rody White or Reggie Wayne.
Honestly I think the Dolphins play more zone. Our LB's trying to cover LT or Sproles man up could be a nightmare. So heavy dose of zone and zone blitz?MonstBlitz likes this. -
Isn't that the truth. The way we have been missing tackles I'm terrified of screen passes to Darren Sproles out of the backfield. Whether LT is healthy or not I'll be much more worried about Darren Sproles this game.
