You look at this defense and you scratch your head a little bit. Jason Taylor hasn’t been putting up impressive numbers and Joey Porter got his eighth sack against the Jaguars, but really hasn’t been dominating. Instead, the Dolphins are feeding off a bunch of relative no-names who seem to show up with a chip on their shoulders and a level of intensity that Coach Tony Sparano covets.
This may come as a surprise to you, but the Dolphins are third in the league in sacks and yet don’t have anyone high among the league-leaders. This is an equal opportunity defense. Everyone has a say. Everyone has a moment.
