My GF has a laptop and on the log on screen it has "dell" for the user name and none of her actual user names are showing up. Any Ideas?
Dell laptops ship with a recovery partition in the event you want to restore the laptop to factory defaults. It sounds like she's booting into this backup somehow. Reboot and keep hitting F8 when the Dell logo appears. A screen should apppear that allows you to select which partition to boot into. Just select Windows. If that fails, call Dell support.
