DGNN stands for "Dolphins Good News Network." The intent is to have one thread with absolutely nothing but good news about our team. To be clear, if ya gotta any problem with our FO, drafts, trades, signings, coaches, play calls, legalities, players, and their play, this would not be the place to post. It is a bit of a haven to avoid any negativity, and to just focus on good stuff about our team. Doubt it will work but, was worth a try. To start: Chad Henne had a fabulous game, perhaps his best ever. Brian Hartline had a great game, 84 yards, and an interference call for more chunk yardage. Anyone else?
At UGA we have a term for fans like that...it is called Disney Dawgs. Everything is glorious. Richt can do no wrong. All is happy in the land and realism doesn't exist. You lose...so what. We still bleed red and black and everything is OK. fwiw...realists like myself, we hate fans like Disney Dawgs. They are no good for the program. Same applies here. This is big business. The team should never be looked at through rose colored glasses. Want to be a homer? Fine. Be a homer. However, be a true homer that can be critical as well as be positive. This happy little home concept of posting...nothing good comes from it because it fuels the rage and fire of the negative things that happened in the game.
So, if I understand, one little thread of good news will fuel RAGE & FIRE on the negative side. That is an interesting concept.
yes. With the good comes the bad and after a loss there is no good. You want to be all positive after a loss, be my guest. Just don't be mad when I come in with a dose of reality behind it.
I saved a ton of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico. Also, Henne and Marshall are now second best QB to receiver tandem in the AFC East and could be a beautiful marriage. Those two tattooed each other's names on their souls last night.
I think a thread like this would be nice. We are all aware that we lost, it's not like we are ignoring it. But it is a nice place to get away from all of the negativity because I have been down in the dumps all day and probably will be for the next week and this thread could be a healthy way to cheer people like me up.

Henne looked like I thought he would. It's great seeing the new #19 The cheerleaders looked awesome in orange. Low penalty count again. Hows that for starters?
Henning outcoaches himself. I don't know about everyone else but I'm tired of it. Start keeping track of how many times drives stall in the redzone and at the goal line. Just keep track of it for the rest of the season.
dolphins offense 23 points/ patriots 14 points. patriots are the number one rated offense in the league right now. he outcoached the patriots offensive coordinator wouldnt you say
The problem with the 23 points everyone keeps referring to is the fact that it should have been more than 23 points. Like 30+. Two touchdowns. Three field goals. Two of those field goals could have and should have been touchdowns, especially the 2nd and goal from the 2. I don't care about the Patriots and what they did against the Jets. I'm sick of people trying to defend this guy. Yeah the Dolphins got 400+ yards on offense. That's fine and dandy and all, but if you call good plays 75% of the time and move the ball down the field, and then in the most important times of the game completely FAIL at play calling, it negates everything you did up to that point. Nobody is seeing a pattern with the offensive redzone play calling huh? Seriously, keep track from now on how many drives stall in the redzone because of Dan Henning's inability to not overthink situations.
we're ranked 11th in red zone efficiency. means 21 teams are worse than us. that puts henning in the top third of off coordinators no? we were second last year. makes him the 2nd best coordinator last year no?
So, as I follow your logic, after a win there is no bad. Have you been around after the first two games?
That is good news. Got ya beat, went to the game, got hammered before, during, and after. More god news, until Monday "Mourning."
Good stuff Slowmo. I also thing Bess and Hartline will have both names tattooed on their next contracts.
I do hope it can do that for some. It's human nature to look more at negatives than positives. There are many good things that come out of every game, and this could be one little thread for Phans to read and talk about them. It hurts no one, other than those who don't have interest in positives, and they can ignore it.
Is stating that I wish to never see Jake Long wear an orange jersey be going against the rules of this thread..?..lol j/k.. Iam out of material on the positive side...
LOL. No, you deserve a little slack, and based on what I've read, are NEVER out of material on any side.

Cut my life into pieces I’ve reached my last resort, suffocation, no breathing Don’t give a f&@k if I cut my arms bleeding Would it be wrong, would it be right If I took my life tonight, chance are that I might Mutilation out of sight and I’m contemplating suicide Cause I’m losing my sight, losing my mind Wish somebody would tell me I’m fine Nothing’s alright, nothing is fine I’m running and I’m crying
