Did Moss really hold Jason Allen?

For whatever reason, JA seems to make plays against the Patriots, for example his rookie year he wacked a NE player and caused a fumble, this game he cleanly picked Tom Brady, and Brady tried to decoy him, JA to his credit didn't buy into the fake and took the under position on his first Int.

Later in the game, Allen had the underneath coverage, Brady tried to squeeze the ball in and it would have been picked off if Randy Moss did not grab his jersey and hold onto it...

Tip o' the jar to you Jason Allen, when Randy Moss has to commit a holding penalty against you to keep you from making a play...you may have arrived in the NFL.....:ffic:

He has definitely improved his play recently.

he was out of position from time to time (I think he was on the first touchdown), he still has a long way to go. But he still looks very promising

He's an active player, always seems to be around the action which is a good thing. I enjoy watching the guy play, he put a vicious hit in on Stallworth today as well.

He might actually turn out to be a decent pick. He's either shown some improvement this year or the rest of the defense has played so bad that they make him look decent? I hope for his continued improvement.

Moss gets away with more offensive pass interferences (that are not called) than probably any other receiver. If you saw the first Pats-Phins game he clearly pushed off on Worrell when he was double teamed in the end zone (during Brady's hail mary pass to end the first half). They rarely call him for it.

that hold was actually a brilliant play by Moss. The Pats were on their own 1 and couldn't lose any yardage from the penalty

Allen is by far our most athletic player out there on defense IMO...

it is just nice that allen and daniels were physical with him, they just did not hit him hard enough to break an arm or leg

Bell and Allen should be a great combo back there at the safety position.

If only we can get a nice corner in the draft to help out at the corner position.

That's how I usually am but I wasn't really confident going into this game.

I did say a prayer before the game. I don't believe god watches football.

I just want to see a Super Bowl before I kick the can. I know I'm only 20 but I've been a fan for my entire life. Since Marino is gone things just haven't been good. We need a quarterback.

    Smells fishy to me......

Here is where I diverge from the "Keep Cam " crowd, I want to see excellence, I don't want to see failure followed by a hand clap and a "Oh Darn"....

And BoneDoc, some unfinished FH business but you were correct about Ginn's Lis Francs, not so much Joey Porter's Saline wash of particles in his knee this summer...

Step aside, Sonny. I've been a Phins fan since the Miami Herald and Palm Beach Post first started running articles about some guy named Joe Robbie and Danny Thomas being the new owners of a football franchise in Miami - in 1964/5. Heard the first game on a transistor radio when I was in high school - they didn't have cable or satellite back then - just rabbit ears and it wasn't on TV. And I'm still waiting for another Super Bowl.

oo easily hands down he is. one of our fastests guys, hardest hitters, lays his body out all the time, and very very athletic. thats why they compared him to Troy P. just as athletic as him but not as fast when it coems to accerlerating.

Allen has played much better for the last month or so.....I don't think that he was worth drafting at 16 and I said that at the time too....I'd not take a safety in round 1 but he can still turn out to be a good player for us.

    Ozzy rules!!

Living up here in Mass I got to go see my Dolphins every year so I was there today. I sat 7 rows up in the endzone and let me tell you that Daniels was not like very much by the Patriot fans. On the Patriots first drive he broke up a play to Moss in the endzone and he came and taunted the section I was in. I was loving every minute of it but some fans were heated. But ya, Allen played pretty well and I CANT believe Schulters (think it was him) missed that interception on a pass to Gafney that ended in a touchdown. Watching it in person I thought he intercepted it.

I saw that play by Daniels. We seem to lead the league in senseless taunts.

He never finds the ball but has no trouble taunting fans after an ordinary play.

Allen had some promising plays today. I don't think his upside is extremely high but it was light years preferable to having Worrell out there looking hopeless against Moss.

for some reason i dono why our team celebrates off of everything that happens...meanign the Defense. WE give up a 15 yard run we tackle them with 2 ppl n u see daniels flying around with his arms open wide
i dono what it is but our team celebrates and taunts for no damn reason especially wehn we are down a few TDs per game. they still do it

I guess we belong to the "original" PhinPhans, then, huh, REV? I was so excited that Danny Thomas and this Robbie guy from Florida were going to put a team in Miami! I've spent 20 years in the U.S. Army and always got P.O.'d when I couldn't at least hear a Fins game because "duty" called. Now that I'm retired, all I'm waiting for is another Dolphin Super Bowl win!! Hang in there friend, it'll happen, sooner than later, I hope!!
